Anyone else starting Monday :) Would love A diet buddy :)

:) Hi I have previously lost weight on Lipotrim , however as I'm a Mother of six children - cost became an issue. I have now sourced Slim and Save which seems cheaper - with the added bonus of more choice.

I'm looking for a diet buddy - I work full time so I know not having to worry about my meals will be stress free - however, cooking for the kids will be difficult:cry:I would appreciate any tips :)

Don't stress about cooking for the six kids, you'll have your meals when they have theirs. I cook for my husband and wee boy - the trick for me is to have a drink handy so I can sip as I go in case I want to keep my mouth and hands busy.

We're all buddies here - we're all on the same journey so know EXACTLY what you're going through. Check in any time. :)

Oh and once you know what packs you like you can get a VLCD cheaper than Slim and Save. Monthly packs work out £35 a month cheaper, but you can buy weekly too.

Thanks Lexie:) Great idea to get the shake ready instead of picking the kids food as i go..... Which VLCD would be cheaper?? Sounds great - do you follow it? Is it part of the Slim and Save??? Please excuse my ignorance:(

There's various different VLCD's out there, a few of which work out slightly cheaper but don't have the range S&S do which is why I've stuck with ordering from S&S as they don't do half the stuff I like.

Thanks for the feedback Cherry - Blossom:) Well done btw for your weight loss! You must be really motivated by the quickness of it!!!

It's been fab. Finger's crossed it will keep coming off and that it doesn't all go back on when I've finished!

It depends on what packs you like. I still take n 4 packs a day but the choices are, as mentioned above, more limited.

Banana, Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry shake
Chicken Soup, Chicken Curry Noodle soup, Vegetable soup, Mushroom soup
Cottage pie, Spag bolognese, Red bean Chilli and oatmeal

are the maximum choices - but I could live off choc shake, vanilla, soups and the meals bar the porridge so it suits me.

Hi batty belle how did you do yesterday?

Yes I did well thanks summerlou. You did well cooking for your family. Was it hard? I caved in last year cooking for my little girl. She's stays with my mum to help me cope. I've got written permission from my dr to do this as I have mental health issues. My mum is marvellous. Hopefully I will be coming off my antidepressants and nighttime meds soon. :)

Good luck ladies we can do it :)

Hiya,

I'm starting on Tuesday and using up the last of my Exante packs and am eagerly awaiting my trial pack from s&s to arrive which I think will be Tues as only ordered it yesterday evening. S&S was recommended by one of my birth board buddies as she's recently started dieting and has found it easy to get on with.

Anyway, I'm Kerry a Mum of 2, DD is 4 and DS is 2.5 I've always struggled with my weight, have an under active thyroid, PCOS and Lupas so a few medical conditions there to scupper my weight lose although the reason I am the weight I am today is because I eat too much and am a sucker for emotional eating. Anyway, I've decided to give it one last go at shifting the lard as I don't want to be fat forever. I started Exante a week ago and will be starting S&s next week when I've used up the last of my shakes. I have about 5.5 - 6 stone to lose and am hoping I will be able to do it or be well on the way before August when I embrace the midlife crisis and head to the v festival, I do not want to be the fat old one when I'm there with my friends who are skinny and in their 20s

Am looking forward to getting to know you all.

Good luck Tinkerbell. And hope I don't see you at V festival (I'll be part of the first aid team there, nothing personal).

Hi xtinkerbellx good luck on your journey :) I'm on day 3 now. Found it hard yesterday and had 5 packs. I am doing 4 packs a day with veg and milk allowance. Having a 5th pack has shown on scales, so no more daily weighing for me. I restarted on Friday. Looking forward to getting to know you and everyone. Good luck and you'll do great :)

Belle xxx
