HAve we seen them on the site they have announced them on a social network site !approx £8.50 for 5 packs

Just wondered what you ladies thought about it if you had seen it ?? I'm not so sure if probably scoff the lot :)

Will you be buying any that's the question

My dad is following a VLCD diet very similar to Slim and Save (they use the same packs) and they've had the crisps for a while now but he said he avoids them like a plague as like you said he said the temptation is always there to eat 2 or 3 packs!! lol x

I think i will avoid them too

Wouldn't be good to stuff all 5 packs would it 500 calories :0/

They are just a snack though so they would be in addition to usual packs which adds on another 100 calories to the day .

I guess they are ok if it's now and then and for a treat rather than an everyday thing x

HOW MUCH!??!! Sweet baby jebus that's a lot

Lol this made me laugh !!!

I know mega expensive really it's not something I will be buying for that reason and because I'd scoff the lot lol

Maybe that's the idea, if they were really cheap we would maybe be tempted to buy loads. It's like the slim and save wafers, I like them but grudge paying 1.99 a bar x

They're expensive because there's little competition - they can make as much money as they like on them.

I like the wafers I did buy some with my last order I have them whilst on a night shift !!!

I do agree mayb there isn't many companies selling the low carb crisps ??

Off I go to google lol

I found some on the low carb megastore

£1.35 a packet slightly cheaper

120 calories (20 more that s&s)

7 carbs (4.8 s&s)

There isn't really that much difference if it's a now and then thing ?

They also do the wafers at £7.95 for a pack of 5 double packs .....it's ok if your wanting to stock up on snacks x

They're notuch dearer than bars they get cheaper the more you buy

The bars get cheaper the more you buy but the wafers don't, they are 1.99 per pack of 2 no matter how many packs you buy sadly :(.

But I see someone has said you can buy them in bulk cheaper from another site which is good if you eat them a lot, personally i don't, I bought 2 packs on week 1 (1 x chocolate and 1 x vanilla) and 5wks later I still have my vanilla pack x

Well my curiosity got the better of me and I tried the crisps. I don't really have a problem with crisps - if there's a big bowl at my elbow I'll eat them but I might go months without, so I thought it was worth the risk. They are tasty and quite filling and a texture a bit like a heavy Snack a Jack. I don't think the temptation would be to eat too many. I may get a few as they might be quite nice if going for after work drinks and everyone else is piling into snacks and chips and another out and about option without the added calories of a bar. Yes they are more expensive than a bag of crisps but to ring the changes now and again I think they are worth it.

Are the crisis a snack or meal replacement? If latter then it's understandable they cost more I may try some ok ordering shortly so will see hope you can buy then individually x
