How do you keep distracted? My other half has gone away for the week and usually I would be stuffing myself silly by now with boredom. I had to get up early and take him to the bus station so I've been on my own since 9am.
I had 2 veggie sausages for breakfast, I've done an hour of yoga, painted my nails, took off the paint, repainted my nails, did some weights,
Had a shower, drank 3 giant cups of tea and about 3 litres of water made some porridge, cleaned microwave after said porridge exploded. Ate the remaining porridge. put my hair in curlers, chopped half a swede. Made swede chips. Ate swede chips. All while watching about 8 episodes of walking dead.
I'm usually ok when I'm at work but I've got a whole week without him to distract me so I'm scared I'm gonna turn to food when bored. Interested to see how other people distract themselves
How about cleaning out some cupboards? Boring but will keep you busy.
Writing some letters?
Catch up with old friends?
Walk around the park?
Visit the library and get some reading material?
Take up knitting or other craft?
Just make sure you are busy and distracted
I tend to fall back on the craft route - or just get out of the house and get some air. If you're on a roll, think of how much domestic organising you can get done! lol
I've been knitting like mad! And the house is now pretty spotless! Win win!
