    Help needed please! :)

    Hey

I was looking at giving this diet a go and thinking about purchasing some of the meals and bars and testing them out (making most of them at one go and seeing which ones I like the most) before actually going onto the diet. Anyone think this is a good idea?

I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with a few questions, I did look before asking and used my old friend google but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

    1) How long after you have made the meal pack up do you have to eat it? I work long 12 hour days (8-8) so I would have to take the stuff to work. I am newish at work (been there about 12 weeks) and I have noticed everyone is so nosey about what you eat for breakfast, lunch and supper. I just don't want to explain myself every time I eat something and I don't feel comfortable enough to say I am on this diet because you get the haters that poo poo it and then the ones that want you to fail!

I was thinking I could make it up at home and pop it in a Tupperware box and then take it to work like that, then heat up in the microwave and no one would know! same with the moose and the soup would be quite easy putting it in a mug would make it look like cuppa soup?

Any ideas or input would be great,

    Cheers xxxx
I CAN do this, I'm doing this for myself and my future.

    Hey :-)

There is an option of buying a taster pack with 28 different packs which might be a good start..

The packs need to be consumed within 10 minutes of being made.

There are sachets or porridge and oatmeal that you can make in the microwave if you have access at work... That would look fairly normal?

If you follow the lifestyle plan you can have one meal a day of 100g protein and 200g veg/salad so you could take a salad or make homemade soup for one meal.. Then have a bar for the other then a meal pack or shake when you got home?

Just a thought? Good luck in what ever you decide :-)

And also... I believe that some of the soups you just add hot water to... Like you said like a cuppa soup...

Also a bar along with a cup of coffee just looks like you're eating some sort of cereal bar or a bar of chocolate from a multipack.
I didn't want to tell coworkers initially either so that's what I did and just said "had a big breakfast, this is all I feel like eating" or "going out for tea, just having a wee thing for lunch" but most of the time nobody asked anything at all. Had I continued I think I would have done the salad and protein option or soups as cup a soups. However, I just gradually told everyone what I was doing - I started with close friends and as I started to see results on the scales I started telling other people. I wanted to wait until I was a couple of weeks in before telling people so that I knew I could do it and actually be able to say "I've lost X amount in 2 weeks so far". At work most folks reactions have been pretty positive - they are generally quite interested in hearing about it. Most seem impressed with the weight loss and admire my willpower. Folk tend to say things like "ah but it's not sustainable" or "once you come off it you'll put it back on again" but my response is "well, no it's not sustainable and I wouldn't want it to be, screw eating like this for the rest of my life!" or "well, that's a possibility but really it's just a case of teaching myself to maintain a weight as I'm rather good at losing it really, I lost 2 stone with slimming world last year and ended up putting that back on, and more!! To be honest, I think the challenge is in maintaining and that's what I need to learn to do but right now I want the weight off and why not do it quickly?" that usually gets a nod and sets folks minds at rest.

Hope you work something out, good luck with the diet!!
