    New to S&S!

    Hi everyone, I'm new on here and new to slim and save too. I'm just wondering what the diet is like and what weight loss I can expect to achieve? I have previously tried lipotrim and lasted 3 days before I collapsed after having a hot bath which put the frighteners on me. I also found it disgusting and even if I hadn't fainted, I don't think I could have stuck to it for very long.

    About me- I'm male, 19 years old and currently weight 18stone (ouch), at 5'10 tall. I work in hospital pharmacy so I really should know better!

    I do have a goal which I think is ambitious (but realistic?) of 10stone. How long would it take to reach this goal (I know it can only ever be an estimate but that's all I'm after)

    You should be OK on this but it is frightening that you collapsed. Maybe worth checking with your doctor. I think it might help you in the beginning to have the 5 packs too and make sure you drink plenty of water.

    I think 10 stone is really low. I know it is officially a healthy weight but I am 5ft 8 and was told I looked gaunt at 12 stone. The weight does settle a bit and you are younger but as a man, I would see how you feel at 12 stone which is at the top end of healthy.

    If you really stick to it you should lose a stone a month - that's an average but I think if people are rigid that's more than possible and probably a bit more in the first month.

    Hi Jordan,I agree with Clinquant - 10 stone is very low. I am 5'10" and don't think I will ever get to 10 stone. It is perhaps not best to think of a final goal, set yourself mini goals - to be less than 16 stone, or to fit into a certain piece of clothing and see how you are feeling when you get to 12 stone.
