How many meal packs do you have at a time?

I have been told by Slim and Save that they recommend that the 4 meals are split up throughout the day, but I've been having 2 during the day and then 2 meal packs together in the evening. This is the response I got from Slim and Save when I posted about having 2 at a time:

You must'nt have 2 meal packs together because you will have too many carbs at once and this will have an effect on your ketosis state. You must spread your 4 packs out nice and evenly throughout the day leaving at least 3-4 hours inbetween.
We also limit you on the chocolate bars too to only 1 per day as we dont want you used to a diet of eating them and once you get to maintanance it will be harder as you will want them all the time.

So I just wondered if anyone else was having 2 at a time?

I don't very often have two together as it can make me feel a bit sick but I do often have them a couple of hours apart. I can't believe it would knock you out of ketosis although if you are having two packs and allowed veg at the same time that would be a lot of carbs at one meal. I usually have mine at 10, 1, 4 and 8 but occasionally if I'm busy I will have a pack leftover and tend to have a hot chocolate or a mousse last thing. I would say if you have found a way that works for you and you are not hungry you are probably in ketosis. If you do find yourself getting hungry then I would experiment with spreading them out.

Thanks for your reply. I've been spreading the meals out and it's actually quite nice having smaller meals more often. I was trying to find something on the net about the maximum amount of carbs recommended at each meal to reach or maintain ketosis but nothing obvious pops up although I found something that says no more than 10g. Even the shake sachets are just over 12 so I can't imagine that info is right. That's the downside to the internet though...

Thanks and good luck Clinquant!
