    Slim Fast/Tescos Ultra Slim

    Helloooo!
    Just a quick thread to ask everyone here their success stories of sticking to a calorie controlled diet with slim fast or tescos ultra slim shakes and snacke.. Im 5ft 6inch female 24 and weigh 17st ( i feel absoloutley horrible when i see myself in the mirror i dont recongize myself anymore.. so really considering the above options. i was thinking of a VLCD but i dont think i can deal with that... so really any motivational tipa or stories wud b highly appreciated x my target for now is 12st. so xcataly 5 stone to lose.. then i will maintain and further see how i feel to try lose more if needed... Thanks in advance guys x reli lookin fwd to some success stories x

    Hey there! I'm doing the UltraSlim too and have been for 4 weeks now. I've lost 11.5lbs so far and hope to reach the 14lb mark by Christmas. Like you I also considered a VLCD but didn't think I could handle not eating at all This way I get the best of both worlds and still get to eat with my hubby and 2 young daughters.

    Just taking it one day at a time helps and drinking loads of water! Keep sight of your goals and keep being honest with yourself.

    If you want to 'buddy up' then I'm here most days but haven't posted much (need a few buddy's to chat with!)

    Oh, and I've just notice you're in Herts. Me too! (East Herts)

    woww thats amazing 11lbs in a month! I have five stone to lose so i hope i can do this all with just tesco shakes Id loveeee to buddy up! and your not far from me! I also have a hubby and two little ones.. a boy and a girl. . struggle trying not to pick at their left overs! :P

    It gets me everytime someone says wow! as I really don't feel like I've lost that much but thank you
    I started with just under 3st to lose (12st11lb) and would like to get to 10st. Really I'd love to be 9st7lbs but I'll be happy at 10
    My girls are 5 and 3 but I'm also a childminder so surrounded by fussy children who insist on putting temptation in my way :-p I am on MFP with the same name minus the 'l' as I didn't check my spellings before saving it LOL! Are you the same name too?

    It's going ok really (I think!). It's just getting back into the mindset of a diet. I've eaten what ever I wanted from 23rd to 31st Dec so I'd put nearly 4lbs back on. I decided that I'd just try and blitz the weight in the shortest possible time and then concentrate on maintenance, I'm soooo impatient!
    After the ultra slim shakes though which are so thick and creamy the slim and save are taking a bit of getting used to! I've not managed one without warming it and adding coffee whereas I looked forward to my shakes before :-( But the meals are ok so far. It's all low carb too so I'm missing pasta/potatoes/rice/bread
    No-one ever said it would be easy though eh?

    How are you getting on?
