Thread: SF soups

Evening all
Does anyone know if SF are stopping their range in soups? I purchased a load for 50p each in my local boots this morning and questionned the bargain! I was informed they will no longer be stocked, I was informed this was due to the lines being withdrawn from Boots??? Any other shops doing this?

It doesnt say anything on there site about discontinuing the soups. I wouldnt of thought they would its one of their main products.

Wow that is a bargain. I'm not aware that they are stopping them but at least you have stocked up just in case they do! Can't imagine that they will though

I've never tried the soups but seen some good comments on them so I might have a go. Boots.com are selling them with 20% off healthcare foods so maybe it's just the store you shop at that won't be selling them anymore? maybe they haven't got the business for them to justify stocking them? my 2 pennies :P

Today the shops all had the soups no problem! I have to say my 50p chicken/mushroom soup was absolutely gorgeous - would def. recommend it.

Blimey! I wish I'd been out shopping with you, I love the chicken but can't get it for love nor money where I am. I've tried the new vegetable though, didn't find it as good as the tomato or chicken

Hee hee, none were left after I had finished! I have not tried the veggie soup yet so I will have a look. What I did notice, was on line boots offer bulk packs of SF products. Currently sold out, but handy to know and they work out cheaper too. Lost 8lb this week, I know it sonly week 1 and it will slow down, but SF with its shakes snacks and soups really is an easy approach.

How curious, went in to my local town where we have Boots, Sainsburys, Superdrug etc an no one stocks soups anymore. When I asked they said they have been discontinued or they are no longer stocked with the suppliers as SF are expanding the snack line??? I was then shown a cranberry cereal snack bar that they now do ... I bought one to try but not impressed, no flavour!
The website mentions nothing, and I had my suspicions when I found those cheap soups last week ...

I emailed SF directly and have confirmed they have already stopped making the soups due to low demand!

Best all stock up if you can find any left anywhere

Maybe they have had a bit of a breakdown in communication somewhere because I'm pretty sure Unilever would not have confirmed they have stopped them if they hadn't.
