I normally keep a food diary on my computer, but I figured on here I'd get some feedback on what might be holding back my uber-weight loss.

A few things about me:

-I have a hard time getting my HEA's in. It's like I have an aversion to dairy! I have a love/hate thing with cheese (lonnnng story) and I've recently decided that yoghurt and I will never get along. NEVAHHHH! So milk it is!

-I am normally an EE girl, but I will try to revisit my Green day roots.

-My C told me to have 5-20 syns per day until further notice. I will try to stick to 15, but 20 will be my daily goal.

-Mmmm...exercise is tricky. But I will be aiming for some kind of daily movement. And so...

Sunday, 11th July 2010: EE

Breakfast
Boiled plantain with baked beans, mixed veggies, a syn free burger and syn free sausage (Joe's). This is my version of a 'full' breakfast!

Lunch
Boiled rice, traditional Nigerian tomato stew (11 - used a bit more oil, usually 9 syns!) and 2 pieces of chicken...nice and spicy. Have run out of veg, so no superfree :(

Dinner
Wasn't too hungry after my lovely lunch, so I just had sliced baked plantain.

Snacks
2 Vimto ice lollies (4)
Chicken skin (6)

'Fried' rice with onions and mixed veggies

Dinner:

Joe's syn free burger and 2 sausages
Baked beans
Mixed veggies


Snacks:
None

Healthy extras:
Had 'em all for brekkie (see above)

OMG is supermalt 10.5 syns?!! I've been craving it for a while but I don't think I'll be indulging now lol. Way to go keeping a food diary. I'm looking forward to getting some inspiration from you on how to tweak Nig food! What part of Nigeria are you from? I'm Yoruba (Ijebu Ode :D )
 
Ooooh, I'm very flattered Honey! I love your foodie pics, always making me want to experiment a little more! I'm half and half - mum's Igbo, Dad's Yoruba! Yeah, I used the syns calculator on the malt! I thought (hoped, lol) it'd be less, being completely void of fat, but oh well.

I think I'll attempt porridge or egusi soup next, but the palm oil *omg*!!!

Hiya! I'm doing okay, waiting in trepidation for wednesday's weigh-in, feels like I'm moving at a snails pace, but at least I'm going down not up! I might change up a little for next week, maybe a few more green days.
