Having a bit of an emotionally iffy day today as my Aunt is going in for surgery on a brain tumor and its scary stuff. I so so SO hope it will help her, her quality of life is just so low at the moment.
Its weird, when I was growing up she was always so slim and so pretty. She looked like the epitomy of health, and now she is riddled with cancer. Its so odd how life works!!
Good thoughts about that please (if anyone reads this!).
Food for today, I have salad and leftover wedges with me to stick in the microwave, and a banana (YUM). And did a big shop last night so I have lots to choose from for dinner. Im thinking pork stirfry with salad. (Drool!) and had lots of fruit to choose from for breakfast. Now just to see if Im full til lunch, which I doubt. (thats no eggs for you!)
I have porridge with me though so its fine.
Went on a big walk last night too. Well, when I say big, big for me!
When I worked it out it was only 1.7 miles but with my bad knee and sore hip (What AGE am I?!?!) it was far enough. Will build it up hopefully and then start the C25K again! I really enjoyed that and so did Hubby. But im so short that my stride is tiny and hubby is so tall, I felt sorry for him tripping over himself to slow to my pace haha.

Massively stressful time but you've built in time to plan what you're gonna eat, taken stuff to work and made sure there are healthy option in for you to have so you don't have to go out of your way to have it! Well done! Give yourself a bit of credit for that!
Sending prayers for your aunt, horrible time for all the family but fingers crossed she's on the road to recovery after the op!
How did you get on without eggs for breaki? I had scrambled eggs with tomatoes in (think it was you that suggested this) was yummy yummy and full until lunch perfectly!

Thanks so much lovely. She really needs them! She didnt get the op today as she needs a blood transfusion first. Just when it seems bad...it gets worse. Still in work so trying not to get too upset, I will later though but at the end of the day, Im not the only who is ill so I cant use it as an excuse. Hmm.
It is SOO yummy isint it. I wish i had, had it this morning too as I only had 2 plums and then had to have porridge at 1030 then by lunch at 130 I was RAVENOUS again and had wedges, salad, passata, 2 tomatoes and a banana (a big amount of each) and Im still hungry now. Eggs are the best diet tool ever I now believe haha. Must try and think of different things to have with eggs. We can inspire each other hehe!
Im hoping to be up to more than 2 miles by the end of the month. I am gonna put a support thing on my knee that hubby is getting me today. And gonna try again tonight. Also going to check how long it takes tonight and try to speed it up as I am a horribly slow walker. My walking speed is like an elderly persons dander. I am so slow at walking. My stride, my feet dont even go totally infront of eachother most of the time. Its ridiculous!

Well today went better. Yay. I needed a good day.
Breakfast: 2 plums and porridge (Hea & heb)
Lunch: Wedges covered in passata, salad and tomatoes. (was yummy!) and a banana.
Dinner: Pork stirfry with a TON of vegetables. Halved the pork and pasta I normally have and doubled the veg and it was realllllly good!
Snacks: M&S count on us chocolate frappe mousse. Was AMAZING. I loved it. So worth it. (6) And think I will have another few plums. Oh and 2 mouthfuls of hubby's crunchy nut. Yumyumyum. I do miss those haha. I'd say (1) for it. But not having any more syns so it's fine.

Feeling positive for a change. Even though a loss is doubtful on Monday thanks to the dreaded "star week" which has arrived.
Sat watching True Blood and loving it.
So happy it's the weekend. Might go for a walk after this is over. =]
So glad to hear you're feeling more positive! And hope your auntie is on the mend! Also the fact it's your star week next week might explain why you've felt like a bad week this week so maybe that's it out your system!
I ended up being proper hardcore at the gym tonight and doing two classes back to back so having a glass of wine as a reward, probably not the best thing before weigh in but what the hell! Also bought new fancy scales today, resisting the urge to use them tonight is surprisingly easy - think it's the thought of finding out exactly what % of me is actual fat! Ha!

Breakfast: 3 egg omlette with half tin of chopped tomato, bacon, onion and a little (hea) philly xl.
Lunch: Leftover pork stirfry with noodles (loads of veg in)
Dinner: Mushroom and beef strips stroganoff (again with loads of veg inc full punnet of mushrooms, onions, peppers and more HEA Philly xl) with rice.
Snacks: Tea (HEA last of), handful of grapes, melon slice, (HEB) Fibre Plus Bar.
I havent had any syns today somehow. Im normally overdosing on chocolate at times like these. Its weird. Dont even want anything but I like to try and have 5 syns at least. Maybe have a bag of chipsticks maybe a small bowl of cruchy nut. Will update later if I do. =)
So yesterday night my horrible neighbour decided to throw a party. So we ended up coming up to stay at my mums. I NEVER eat well at my mums. Thank goodness I had syns left.
I had a chocolate mousse which was 6 syns and half (phew. Only half!) a yum yum which is 7 syns.
So syns for yesterday are: 13
I'm going home now and thank goodness as there are so many buns and breads and cakes and all here that I would eat a week syns in one day here today. Eek!!

ps i used to eat badly at my mums too - so - filled an asda bag with tins of spaghetti, mugshots, snack a jacks alpen light bars etc and left it there - now i have to activeoy choose to be bad when im there as there are other options available to me so it tends to keep me on the straight and narrow (plus my mums not thrilled about giving up cupboard space to me so if I have a biscuit instead of one of my items she always tuts and moans)

That's a good idea about the SW food stash. My mum thinks she eats so healthily already though and she really doesn't so she might take offence. Hmm. Will ponder that!

Seriously slacked on the SF today. Just wasn't interested. I also had such a hungry day. Wanted to eat everything I could see (except sf stuff!). Well I wasn't hungry, I just wanted to eat loads!!
My aunt Is having an op to relieve pressure on her brain tonight. Right now actually. So nervous about that but just hoping it all goes well!
This week is going to be so odd as I'm spending most of the week staying at my mil/fil house as they are on hols and it's easier for us being where they live than where I live but....I miss all my stuff. Eugh. Not looking forward to this week!!
Anyway... 2 more weeks of work then I'm off for a fortnight!! Whoooooopppp!!!

I just wanted to leave you a little note to let you know that you are doing amazing! you have a lot going on so to even note down what you are eating is a big thing!!
But also you are way too hard on yrself! SW is about life long attitude towards food...there will always be a wedding or summat where u can't be 'awkward' and you have to be 'normal' and eat what is offered!
I have tried it the other way and in the end i left a wedding to stop on the way home to get a Donner kebab!!! LOL i can't believe i shared that! :-)
I get weighed tom and i think it is * week...hard to keep track as my weight fluctuation is on a diff cycle to the actual * LOL. I'm sure you will have done well...and if there is a small gain or STS just think about what it could have been...you could have eaten loads more!

Takes me just over 4stone lost again and only 3 more lbs until I am back to my lowest weight from starting slimming world, then everything else is pure profit hehe!
