Well it's Day 1 of the push and I think I've got the hang of this... It is only day 1 and I have NYE to navigate yet... Luckily I'm not starting celebrating till about 10:30pm due to the girlfriend working and i'm only celebrating till just after midnight as i'm at work at 9am... YAY :D

I'm following GREEN in case anyone wonders (being a Veggie it's better and easier seen as I live on Milk and Cheese...)

I struggle with food. I've always had a life long love of food toying with the idea of being a Chef at a younger age. As I grew up alcohol became involved with the food and a love for that developed making a seriously bad diet.

While I know that it can be tamed I eat and drink because I love the flavours and can't get enough of them. I drink Real Ale mainly and there is such a wide range of flavours and the such within these. And food, don't get me started on food. It's a never ending torment.

Well enough of the soon to be publsihed Autobiography and let's crack on with this diary...

Day 2 has dawned and a new challenge beckons. Today is my first day at work since being on SW. The main challenge is finding something to eat for dinner to fill me up that is either Syn Free or practically free.

The second challenge being NYE...!!! :eek:

DAY 2:

Wetherspoons Jacket Potato & Beans (no butter or dressing)

Still New Years Eve to go and I know some alcohol will be involved. Ok, hopefully only 2 bottles of Ale and a glass of Bubbly at midnight... Cross Fingers... :clap:

Good to see more blokes on here:cool:

I'm sure if you avoid the obvious dangers, especially booze and although we all love cheese, it is a demon lol. - just take a look in the off-topic section to see how many people overdosed on cheese at Christmas;)

On the plus side, it is said that blokes lose weight a lot easier and faster than women. At a steady 2-3lb per week you'll be at target well before Summer:cool:

Ok, so it's been 2 days since my last post and things didn't go too well on NYE... Granted I only had 3 small bottles of Tuborg and 3 large glasses of Wine but its the extra nibbles I had that might've blown it... :(

I feela let down already and, as if by magic, The Foo Fighters are now rubbing it in... DAMN YOU FOO FIGHTERS AND YOUR AMAZING MUSIC...!!!

It was hard at work too, I find when i'm emotional I get a lot more hungry. Me and my girlfriend had a biggish argument early hours of NYD over something stupid (damn alcohol) and, even though we sorted it straight away, I still felt bad for arguing the rest of the day... That made me even more hungry... :cry:

I RESISTED THOUGH...!!!

So it's not the 2nd January and a brand new start... I'm meeting my beautiful girl in a few hours and then it's time to kick serious butt... You will be gone excess weight...!!!

So my diary for yesterday and today is as follows:

Day 4 has appeared and is soon to be shoved under the rug...

I'm starting to get the hang of this now and hopefully it will start to show in the next few weeks. This week I will be happy with staying the same, well it did include NYE's and the alcohol/food consumed...

Oh and on a second note, if one more person laughs at me because i'm doing SW and a male I'm going to punch them smack in the FACE...!!! :mad:

Day 6 in the Big Brother House and Gareth has just eaten his breakfast... (and had a cheeky weigh on the scales... :eek:)

Back to work today unfortunately with so much Uni work to do in the next 2 weeks... I've fallen into this SW malarky quite easily but the big test will be in just over 2 weeks. I start back on placement for 6 weeks and my body clock gets shot to hell and back... Good luck me...

A whole week has passed on this fabulous journey and weigh day has come around. I'm nervous, scared but excited to see if what i've been doing had worked...

YES IT DID...!!! I lost 6.5lbs this week... But unfortunately because it was my first week I couldn't win "Slimmer of the Week" :cry:

But on a good note only 1.5lbs to my January target... :D

So I've decided to get over yesterday I will adopt a routine of Flexi Syns this week... I've used a total of 45.5 in 2 days (which is not good) but it means I have 49.5 for 5 days... 10 a day is easy considering i've only been having 5-7 on a normal day...
 
Well my Diary has slacked a little over the last few days... It's been chaos with Uni and work... Been on placement in Northallerton and i've got loads of work to do too...

Start afresh today me thinks with a weigh in also...

DAY 14:

Weighed in and it's another loss... 3.5lb this week taking my total to 9lbs in total... WAHOO...!!! :D

Unfortunately no Slimmer of the Week... Missed out by 0.5lbs...

I know Steve... Was gutted... We had a really nice hamper full of food for this week too...

And I can't or probably won't next week... It's my birthday on Monday and me and my Gf are going for drinks on Sunday night to celebrate...
