    This weeks food diary

I've been meaning to pop a food diary up on here for a couple of weeks but never seem to get round to doing it, so while I'm letting my lovely spag bol go down I thought it was about time I did!!!!

All thoughts and comments welcome.....I'll start with Saturday as that's my weigh in day.
Maybe I should say that I started just over 6 weeks ago and have lost exactly a stone ideally I'd like to lose another 2 and a half stone by end of July/beginning of August (ready for hols).

    Here goes.....Saturday - green -
Breakfast - fat free natural yogurt with chopped apple, banana and raspberries.
Lunch - baked potato, baked beans, cheese HEA, cherry tomatoes, 2 small satsumas.
Tea - butternut squash risotto with onions and chilli. Cheese HEB. No 2nd HEB oops!
    Syns - light mayo 2 + small choc cookie biscuit 3 = 5

    Sunday - extra easy
    Breakfast - banana and grapes.
Lunch - left over risotto with carrots, onions and chilli. HEA cheese. Apple.
Tea - in the pub, gammon steak, mash, peas.
Snack - 2 alpan light bars HEB.
Syns - fried egg and butter/milk in mash, guessing 5?

    Today, Monday - extra easy.
Breakfast - fat free natural yogurt with banana and raspberries.
Lunch - 5 scan bran HEB with fat free cottage cheese, carrot, pineapple, melon, mango.
Tea - spaghetti bolognese, onions, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, HEA cheese.
    Syns - 3 cadburys choc fingers 5.5.

Please tell me if you think I'm doing anything wrong, thanks

Are you trying to compensate for yesterday with today? The reason I ask is because your lunch looks tiny! In general your breakfasts don't look big enough to me either. I think you are getting enough super free, so well done for that, but I'm not convinced you are ate acting enough. If you are not hungry, then great, but make sure you are eating enough.

The reason i say that is because it is possible to put your body into starvation mode by not eating enough - this means your body just holds on to any calories you give it, and you don't loose weight.

But as i said, as long as you are not going hungry, you're doing fine.
I'm doing a sponsored weight loss for the Walking with Giants Foundation. Help me out if you can!

I have no idea why I missed that 2nd HEB, it's the first time I have in 6 weeks, I knew by tea time that I hadn't had it and really didn't feel hungry enough to eat anything else. Will try not to make a habit of it though lol

Sunday's breakfast was not good, I got up late and had a very lazy morning, plus had a bit of a funny tummy so didn't have anything else.
And trust me when I say that I'm very rarely hungry!!! If I wasn't eating enough I wouldn't be able to stick to it, I absolutely love my food and sometimes think that my portion sizes are a bit on the large side!! Oops! But the plan seems to be working for me so far
I write everything i eat down in a little book at home and even keep a log of how much exercise I do, usually about 1 - 1 and a half hours a day walking. Thank god for the dog lol

Snacks - 2 alpan light bars HEB

Well.......tea was a chicken chow mein from the chippy! Alot more syns than i was hoping to have....but I enjoyed every mouthful!!! in the books it says 7 syns but there was waaayyyyy more than the 300 and odd grams there! So if I say 12 syns (???) maybe for tea, there was loads of mushrooms, onion, cabbage and carrots in it so I'm saying they are my super free with it, maybe not quite a third but good enough for me, it is valentines day after all lol.

Well I feel fab this morning!! really wish I'd have taken my measurements when I first started as I'm curious to see how many inches I've lost. My jeans are constantly falling down and i desperately need to go and buy some new ones I might treat myself later on this afternoon after I've met up with my friend for a girly catch up. (we're not really meeting up in the pub.....honest lol). Will only be drinking diet coke as I'm driving so syn free there. And I'm not planning on eating anything as we're meeting at 2.30, so all good there too
