When I do red days I usually do lots of casseroles and stews and stuff, but have loads of mashed swede and veg, or chicken thighs roasted with honey and lemon and lots of roast veg like peppers, red onion, squash, mushrooms, courgettes, aubergene etc.. and some fine beans. Or make a SW spag bol and use one of my hexB's for 100g brown spaghetti, and have lots of salad with it. Frittatas are really good too, as they are pretty filling. I made a vege sausage casserole the other day that would be fab on red with some broccoli and green beans. If I do a roast I'll just have meat, mashed swede, broccoli, carrots and roast some butternut squash instead of potatoes. I usually find on red is I have new potatoes as one of my hexB's, then half the amount is totally fine so then have half a Hex left which I use for an alpen light. xx

I don't have a food diary, probably should! Charl has given good suggestions tho. I actually eat normal meals but just 2/3 veg and 1/3 meat. So casseroles are fab, cottage pie with mashed root veg instead of potato, curries with spiced cauliflower instead of rice, sausage casserole or with butternut squash mash, sw fry ups, omelettes/fritata, steak with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, lasagne and layer aubergines instead of pasta, stir fries with peeled long slices of carrot/courgette instead of noodles, huge salads with lean meat/cheese/hard boiled eggs, sf soups, pork chops/chicken tray bake with roasted veg, lamb tagines. I basically fill up on veg, would quite happily eat a huge plate of brocolli so it's ok for me!!

Wow you two have given me lots of ideas thank you, I would never have thought of using things like carrots instead of noodles. Thank you both. Hoping to see some fab losses like you both!

No worries! I used to struggle massively with red days, but they're good now, if you do them consistently when you have carbs again you get super bloated so watch out for that!
I just put my food into MFP and realised the peanut butter I put in was only half my hexB so just had half an sandwich with cheese and pickle, been craving it loads lately, was perfect!x

35g for full fat, doesn't have a lighter option but id sneakily up that to 40g for reduced fatI love burgers with halloumi on. Yum! X

Bf's dad and his misses are coming for dinner tonight but we've done a SW dinner for them which will leave me SYNS for wineI haven't had any Chablis since Xmas so can't wait for a glass or 2 later

Just got to tidy the house for them coming which will burn off a few cals, already done the bathroom so just Hoover and dusting, and mopping the floor. Joys! And take little daisy pup for a walk.
EE day - Saturday
Breakfast : wmeal toast (hexB) poached eggs, WW dairy spread (0.5syns)
Lunch : Riso gallo rissoto (half) quorn piece, peas, parmesan (half HexA) mushrooms and mixed baby leaves. Mullerlight with banana chopped in.
Dinner : SW pork apple and cider braise (apple, carrot, onion, garlic, celery) roast new potatoes, purple broccoli. (1syn cider) SW choc mousse pots (4syns)
Drinks : water, tea (hexA milk) Chablis : (12 syns)
Total SYNS : 17.5

No Im in my second year of Early Childhood Studies BA(Hons) at the mo, its not really a teaching degree more like learning how to understand children, theories on children etc. Will be applying for my PGCE after this year though, doubt ill get on it straight away though :/

Oh god! Shouldn't have gone boozing! Led to me hungoverly getting a chicken kebab last nightand the scales showing a whopping 4lb gain! Although it may just be carb bloat so ill so red days this week to try and get it back down!
Yesterday's food was a bit mixed
EE Day - Sunday
Breakfast : Sainsbury burger (1syn) cheese (hexA) oven chips and 5 onion rings.
Lunch : Tom yam soup (ramen noodles, king prawns, spring onion, mushroom) paste (1syn)
Dinner : chicken and lamb kebab (pitta??) garlic sauce and some chips with bolognaise.
No idea where to start with SYNS! I'll reduce up 5 for the week tho to make it up![]()

I'm not sure why but me and dan made a den in the sitting room and we both passed out there until this morning!! Haha! Weirdos! Gonna try sticking to plan today, we'll see! Just on the way to placement now feeling pretty awful still, I guess that may be something to do with sleeping in a den!
EE DAY - Monday
Breakfast : leftover chicken and salad (sick I know!) just a few tiny bits that were left.
Really late lunch like 5pm! : deli box noodles (1.5syns) toast (hexB) with ham and tomato. Spread (1syn)
Dinner : roast beef, sw roast potato and parsnip, mashed swede, carrots, green beans, broccoli. Gravy (2syns)
