Holiday Slimdown Diary

Hello! I began Slimming World on Monday, I'm hoping to lose 2 stone before I go on holiday with the boyf (who is a stick!) and I thought I'd post my diary on here. Any criticisms/tips would be appreciated! I'm 5'9 and weighed 12 stone as of Monday. I'm a 19 year old law student at Southampton :)

So far this week I've had less than 5 syns a day, had 2 red days and 2 extra easy. I went to the gym twice as well and did 30 mins on the cross trainer both times.

Friday 23rd March - Red day

B: 30g strawberry weetabix minis (HEX B 1), banana and custard muller light, a big banana

L: pizza omelette! 2 egg omelette with milk (HEX A 1), roasted mushrooms, red pepper and orange pepper, 30g cheese (HEX A 2) and a lemon hifi bar (HEX B 2)

D: chicken breast with lots of salad.

Syns: 1 Alpen light bar (3) 1 Activia banoffee pot (1)
Cooked fried wedges and steak for OH, ended up having two little wedges and a teeny piece of steak. Never tried it before...not a fan! TOTM though so don't think this was too bad as a "bad" day!

Saturday 24th March - Red day

B: 1 Alpen light bar (3 syns) 1 toffee mullerlight, 1 banana, coffee with skimmed milk (HEX A 1)

L: chicken breast, salad, fruit

D: 200g pasta (HEX B 1 & 2) free sauce (onions, passata, tinned tomatoes with herbs/spices blended) apple, grapes

Syns: 8.5 :(

[edit] arghhh so annoyed. thought I'd read somewhere that a cadburys fudge bar (the small ones) were 3 syns, turns out theyre 5.5. had one because I fancied a little treat :( I don't even like fudge that much!

Well this is the plan anyway. Leaving Southampton today, going to OH's house and I always overeat there :( determined not to this time though!

Thank you! Wow just seen your stats, your progress is amazing!

Had a perfect week til today :/

Sunday 25th March - Extra easy

B: muller light strawberry, banana, coffee + sweetener + milk (0.5 syns)
L: small skinny latte from costa (HEX A) jacket potato, baked beans
S: 2 Alpen light bars (HEX B)
D: some SW roasted potatoes, a vanilla muller light...

Also ate a couple of champagne truffles. Don't know how many syns :( but I've had 5 or less all week until the weekend (8.5 yesterday, god knows today) and I did have one day this week which was red day and had no syns at all. So I think, fingers crossed, I can get away with it. Weigh in at group tomorrow eek :/

Eeek had a cheeky weigh in myself this morning...11 stone 8! Not going to update statistics until I've had my official weigh in tonight but I'm amazed. Beautiful weather today, even more motivating...I really want to be in a bikini this year!

L: 2 slices wholemeal bread from small loaf (HEX B2) beans (7.5 syns) 45g light cheese (HEX A2) vanilla muller light
D: 3 slices lean ham with fat cut out, 2 hardboiled eggs, 2 carrots

Syns: 7.5

Hopefully going to start Couch to 5k tonight as well!

Good luck for weigh in!!! :D

Not going to group tonight now, Mum doesn't fancy it and we only joined last week so don't want to go on my own :( had a really bad day too, bank refused to give me a bigger overdraft so I can't pay my summer rent, and then my flip flops cut into my feet big time on the walk home. Then I realised I'd have to swap to a red day halfway through eating my lunch! Sigh.

Monday 27th March - Extra easy

Plan for tomorrow:

B: 2 slices toast (HEX B) 2 eggs in frylight, banana, cup of tea (0.5)

L: ???

D: jacket potato, beans, 45g lf cheese (HEX A)

Total: 0.5 syns. Need to find a decent lunch though, going to OH's house again for his birthday :/ this plan was so much easier at uni! Being home is hard :(

Hey, think you did quite well with the Chinese really! Is your weigh in usually Tuesdays then? I weigh tommorow and although I feel slimmer I don't think the scales are going to agree x

Hope your first WI goes well!

What's your goal weight? I'm same height as you but 12lbs heavier! I wanna fit into my size 13 jeans and I was 11stone when I fit into them last time!

Well done so far! Looks. Brill! I started yesterday but switched from ww! So my WI day is Monday too!

Hey :) sorry forgot about this website! My goal weight is somewhere between 9 and a half/10 stone I think. How's it going? :)

I weigh on Monday mornings now :) the scales aren't always accurate though, anything can affect them even if you've had salty food which causes water retention! If you look/feel slimmer that's more important! :) x

Been a bit absent from this but I have managed to lose 11 lbs in 6 weeks, really hoping to pull off a 3lb loss this week to bring me a 1 stone in 7 weeks! I know SW say its roughly 6 weeks per stone but it was easter after all...and 7 weeks is actually more healthy as it's an average of 2lbs a week :) keeping motivated!

Welcome back!! :)
