Hi there!

I am moving over from calorie counting to slimming world went to my first meeting yesterday so I am ON it today :)

Basically, I had lost 11lbs on cal counting but sadly I've put it all back on, I really needed to focus, I've got about 4 stone 4lbs to loose as my goal is 10 stone! And I really want to achieve it. The main reason for the weight loss is because me and the other half are going to be trying for a baby this year, (ttc in October hopefully) so i'd like to be at the healthiest weight possible for this. Before then, I have a pair of shorts I really want to fit into and show off on a nice holiday :-D

Hi frankie, welcome!! You'll love sw and the freedom it gives you (ESP after cal counting) loosing weight before pregnancy is a really positive step (I'm doing the same) I have a diary and I find it's really useful for keeping me on track. Good luck, will keep popping in x
 
Aw thank you! I've just seen that I've cream thead haha ordering my ice cream maker in a mo haha I've just made scan bran choccy cake and added nutella on top really yummy haha I count 13 syns for the lot, I'll post my diary later too and have a peep at yours :)

Haven't seen the ice cream thread... Is it free? And your scan bran cake looks and sounds lovely, keep meaning to make one. How are you getting on today? X

arghhhh! today has been disasterous!! I have had a take away arghhh will post later, gone way over my syns! I may just have to make up for it by not synning until Thursday morning which is weigh in day, but if I syn after this will I gain weight afterwards?

I am really nervous about tomorrow, it's my first weight in day on this diet, I've mucked up two of my days, but otherwise done ok, i need to get a grip and take control of the binges I keep having, get in some exercise too, my friend has asked me to join the gym so I may just give it a go

Hi Frankie, im new to slimming world too, i started a food diary this week. This is my third week on SW and lost 4lb so far. Are you following any particular plan eg red/green/extra easy? I struggle with binges too, i stock up on fun size chocolate bars (4 syns each) and velvet crunch crisps from tesco (4 syns per bag). Good luck for tomorrow!
 
Just had a look at your food diary, at least your back on track! :) I'm hoping to of lost, if it's just a lb I prob won't be ecstatic but at least it won't be a gain lol

Just feeling a bit blurgh, lost my job, (through no fault of my own) and It took me a while to get that Job from finishing uni last year, so been abit more tempted to binge by sitting at home bored :-( feeling abit poo, as we wanted to try for a baby in October but with no Job it's deffo not gonna be possible at the mo

I lost 2lbs, well better than nothing I guess, bah I was hoping for 4lbs loss, being my first week I guess I will get into the swing of things more next week, and the group leader can look over my diary to see if I'm doing it ok lol I need some decent scales to weigh out cheese for my HeA! Anyone recommend some ok ones? X

Well done on 2lbs loss, its a great start.
I dont use scales, I just guess! :eek::sigh: I know thats naughty. x
 
Feeling fairly good today :) just abit, wishing I was slimmer so I could start trying for baba now! I feel so impatient and it's frustrating, I want to try now!! But I deffo know I need to shed this weight, I guess I just have to keep focused :-/
