Ma Wee Diary... After lurking in other peoples that have given me the Inspiration.

Well here I am back on the SW wagon, I am a mother of two girls (aged 27 & 16) can I still call them girls at that age or are they women!? I am originally from SW London however I met and married a wonderful Edinburgh man that told me life over the wall north is the place to be ....However, he never told me about the weather! (ok maybe he wasn't truthful but he is wonderful!) :giggle: I moved up to Edinburgh in March 2010 and got married in the Royal Mile on the 9th of July 2010. Hubby and I started on the SW wagon about this time last year (I had previously done SW some years ago and the weight just fell off) I had piled on the stones and hubby's diet before I moved here was shocking we settled into a routine that wasn't good for either of us. So about a year ago I found this wonderful place called Minimins and lurked around on people's diaries and recipe threads making notes and drawing inspiration from members on here (to mention a few.. Lily42uk, Ermintrude, Bilsat, Kwise1, Donnajt, BitMumInCanada & Charleybarley..not even sure they know that I am their ultimate minimins stalker!) I lost just over 2 stone and hubby a 1½ stone. I gained confidence and started to post on here replying or helping if I could and really felt as though I was contributing. Things went into a slippery slope and we kinda went off plan about 4 months ago haven't yet weighed ourselves but have gained alittle not all of it back. This time rather than lurking I am going to keep a diary and put down the food I have ate and my trials and tribulations hoping to see where and why I have blips.

I would appreciate any advice/help if anyone is out there reading this load of ramble.

Hi Sharry, well done on getting the confidence to start a diary, at first I found it abit daunting but I feel like it's really good motivation. Saying that Iv fallen off the wagon the past month or so and Im stuck in abit of a rut! Are you following a specific SW plan or just mixing the days?

Hi Chloe :wavey:
Thank you for dropping by.....I am aiming for EE but have a feeling I will have to mix it up a bit to fit in with the family. However determined to crack it this time the logic is there and determination to succeed :fingerscrossed: which plan are you following?

I am not setting a time to target, as long as I lose between 1-2lb a week I will be happy. Need to fit in some Body Magic along the way too sitting at a desk staring at a pc screen all day at work really doesn't help with the weight loss. Luckily the hubby has noticed his back playing up again and wants to get back on plan so with him along for the ride and the wonderful Minimins I am 100% positive this time round. Have you set a goal date?

Just subscribed to your diary....maybe we both in the future could do with some kicks up the rear ;) you up for it? :p

I can't believe having no electricity and being told to not touch your fridge/freezer for just over 2 days can throw you off your eating pattern. Considering the situation I could have been alot worse...on saying that I have had 3 Freddo's tonight whilst trying to work out what to have for dinner washed down with a bottle of vino watered down with a bottle of soda water and now on a couple of Bacardi & cokes...think I am going to draw the line, kick its ar$e then mount the SW saddle again.... feel a loser!

Drawing a line under and moving on is the best thing to do... It's what I'm doing in the mornin too :) xx
