Nikki's post - pregnancy time to get to target SW diary!

Eeeek!!!

So excited to be starting a new SW diary.

Some of you may know me, some may not....

If not then here is my background info..

Started SW July 2010.... Lost 2.5 stone in 8 months.... Got complacent....went up and down by 6-14lb between march 2011 and sept 2012. Weighed in at 14lb heavier than target on the 2nd September.... Took the bull by the horns and lost 8lb in 3 weeks :-D currently sat 9st 8.5lb yipppeeee!!! My happy weight is about 9st 5ish!

Then.... Found out I'm pregnant!!! Yipppeeeeee!!!!

7 weeks now and I've just gone back onto SW today. WI should be on a friday but realistically my aim is to not go over 12st.

So here I am. See what happens over the next 4 weeks. I go toEgypt 4 weeks on Saturday, obviously I'm not trying to lose weight but I'm trying to tone my back up (pregnancy exercises!) and eat healthy :)

Ok I'm ready to begin :) I've been so ill this week and am still but I need to rein in the naughty food!
 
-Here goes.... Day 1!

Breakfast - Woke up late!

Lunch - Jacket potato with spaghetti and cheese (HEXA)

Yorkie cookie - (16 syns!) ill know to check before I eat in the future!

Dinner - Balti curry (9 syns) Rice, Chicken (HEXB x 2)

25/105 weekly syns

I would usually cook my own curry from scratch but me and OH are trying to be thrifty and so are using stuff from the cupboards the next few weeks and a curry seems to cost a lot to cook from scratch when you have none of the ingredients in!!

It's was beautiful! Asda do these potatoes called "maribel buttery" and when cooked I the oven then need no butter or anything because they are so soft x
 
Felt really poorly again yesterday so it didn't go to plan :-( disappointed in myself BUT I didn't binge or anything. Just because I had Half a white roll at about 4pm doesn't write the day off. I felt so sick that was all I could manage.

I think the curry might be on the cards tonight or Wednesday x
 
So..... My poorlyness turned serious last week and I was admitted to hospital.

I'm finally feeling better and today I'm attempting a good sw day :) I have 2 weeks until my holiday and I'm not weighing in until I go. So fingers crossed!!

Got my first midwife appointment on the 8th nov and then off on holiday on the 9th. So 2 weeks to go!
 
Back from hollies and ready to start healthy eating again!

Feeling so much better thanks :) appetite is week and truly back. In the 18 days since my midwife appointment and today's scan I have gained a whopping 4kgs!! Seriously need to be careful what I'm eating from now on
 
Here goes.....

I'm not going to class and from what I can gather I get an extra a & b choice a day... If I'm wrong please correct me!

Breakfast - wholemeal toast and marmite (hexb +3.5 syns for spread and extra weight of bread)

Lunch - cheese (HEXA) and ham toastie (HEXB + 2.5 syns extra bread)

Snack - grapefruit and activia (0.5)

Dinner - spag Bol (HEXA + ? Syns)

Need to check the syns on the spag Bol, I might make it from scratch but I might use a jar!!
 
Had a couple of good days. Not necessarily SW but at least healthy. When I got back from my holiday I weighed at 10st 5.... Yesterday I was down to 10st 2 so I know a lot was holiday bloat.

My main concern is that I'm not eating any fruit or veg! It's like my body is just saying no to it and all I want is carbs!

Must try harder because I don't want to let myself slip!
 
Friday 30th November 2012 - day on plan EE

Breakfast - 2 wholemeal toast (1.5 HEXB) spread (2) marmite

2 x quality streets (5)

Lunch - tuna pasta salad (0.5 salad cream)

Cake (??) girl at works birthday and so don't have a clue!

Dinner - chicken stir fry (??)

I'm ready... I've gained 9.5lb so far and I'm 16 weeks. I wake every morning feeling crappy from all the rubbish food throughout the previous day so I'm going full force for a healthy few days!

Advent Calendar chocolates - 3 syns

Breakfast - cup of tea (0.5 syn) 1 wholemeal toast (HEXB + 1 syn) marmite

Lunch - jacket potato, spread (1 syn) spaghetti, cheese (HEXA)

Dinner - steak, jacket potato, roasted veg (1 syn for oil)

Total syns - 6.5

i shall be reading your diary with interest as im preggers to and need some inspiration!!

I'm trying my hardest but sometimes it's just too hard!

Example... I'm waiting for pay day which is Wednesday. I have a beautiful fresh cooked chicken breast which is to go on a sandwhich... Down side is I only have white bread!

I really want a few healthy days between now and Xmas though....
 
Seriously having a freak out.... Had a weigh in today and I'm up 3lb this week!! That makes a total gain of 12lb!!

SW here I come!
 
Food today.....


Breakfast - oats so simple (2/3 HEXA + HEXB) 1 syn jam

Lunch - jacket potato with spaghetti and cheese (1/3 HEXA) 1 syn spread, 3.5 syns for sausage in spaghetti.

Dinner - fish finger pie with carrots, 8 syns ( I think fish fingers are 2 each?!)

13.5 syns
