    Hi all,

    I've been on mm for a while but have only just decided to do a food diary/ blog. I've been doing sw since Jan 2011 & lost 3st. However I fell quite ill & only did sw 50% if that & so have gained weight. I'm starting again on Monday.

    Hi Catlover, good for you starting your own diary! It's great to be able to keep an eye on your day to day doings and we know where to find you too.
    Are you still feeling really unwell? ..If you are then perhaps you should try to find out why before embarking on another dieting regime otherwise it may well end up in failure. It would be such a shame to make a great effort and then make yourself feel even worse.

    Thanks for replying! It has taken me a while to pluck up the courage to start a diary.

    I'm much better now but it has been a tough year so far health wise & I don't think putting on weight has helped, I feel very sluggish. I felt lots better last year while doing sw. My health will never be 100% again but I think healthy eating will help my immune system & my state of mind.

    It may sound odd but I'm quite looking forward to wiping the slate clean & starting afresh on Monday.

    Nothing to worry about .. doing your diary can be such an inspiration for others as well as helping to see how you are coping too.
    Def will make such a difference to your self confidence... go to it!!...and don't worry when you hit a blip..happens to the best of us. Just get back to it a.s.a.p. ..

    My hubby and son arent feeling to great tonight both have pains in the stomach and feeling yuk.

    I dont have a diary hun sorry. I think if ever I get stuck in a rut or find myself slipping that will be the time for me to start writing everything down. My losses are slow but steady averaging between 1/2lb to 2lb a week but mostly a steady 1lb. As long as its off im happy

    That's how me & hubby are too, it's gross.

    This is my first diary so we shall see how I go :-/

    I think slow & steady losses are better as it stays off longer, that's why I think sw is brill. It's more a healthy eating plan than 'diet'.

    Do you feel you have much to lose?

    I want another 61/2lbs off for xmas to get me to my 2st then another stone before April next year for my hols to Mexico. If I can get to 3st off in total I will see how I feel at 11st. I would like to be in a comfy size 12- ive currently dropped from a 16-18 to a 14. Having said that it depends on make of clothes as a dress and a top I just bought are 12's. Ive gone from the 14stone band into the 12stone band now and i feel so much happier.

    Well done! I think your targets are more than achievable. I totally agree about the clothes sizing thing, it can be a bit frustrating for me sometimes, but I have dropped 3 dress sizes on bottom & 4 on top which I'm pleased with but I'd like to be at comfortable 14 top & bottom. I'd like to lose a stone by Christmas.

    What's your fave sw recipe?
