hi there :wave_cry:

just thought id give you a bit of background info on me before i start my food diary..

i have followed slimming world off and on for the past couple of years, i know that it works as i do tend to have good losses from it but its usually my love of junk food or love of the vino that i end up wrecking my weight loss and usually end up putting it all back on and then some!!

im 22 weeks pregnant with my third and ive piled on about a stone in the time that ive found out i really want to keep my weight gain to a reasonable limit instead of putting even more on than is necessary and have a bigger amount to lose when really i want to be thinking about looking after our little family instead of me being stressed out that im huge !!

So im really going to try my best this time and keep on plan after the baby is born to as it really is the best way of eating, filling your plate with gorgeous fruit and veg plus no forbidden carbs or proteins :D
i want to give the baby a really good start feeding it goodness instead of rubbish!!
so i shall be taking pics of my meals so that i can keep a photographic track of what ive eaten and hopefully give anyone ideas to

also this time around my hubby is going to follow the plan with me as he has put weight on over the past couple of years- for now im going to just log my food intake on here though but dont worry i shall keep my beady eye on him at all times!!

usually i follow green days with a red day thrown in at the weekends but im going to be following the Extra Easy plan and because im pregnant i get to have 2 healthy extra A's and 2 healthy extra B's which is a bonus as thats what always put me off following EE in the first place because i love my healthy extras!!

right i think ive wrote enough now ..sorry if ive waffled on a bit i'll blame it on the pregnancy hormones!!

Hi!! What does the quinoa porridge taste like?? I've never had it before.
Do you have any plans for this weekend???

quinoa doesnt really have a taste its a bit like couscous so takes on the flavour that you add to it, thats why i add a mullerlite to it usually a vanilla one or a toffee one.. and then i sprinkle some cinnamon on top, its great as it is free so i dont have to use a healthy extra so early in the day!! :)

thanks love..it was all scrummy..its just not diet food at all is it!!

Great isn't it!! :) I looked for the quinoa whilst out today, put it in my trolley then noticed the price! Think it was £2.09 for a tiddley bag, does that sound about right? Just seemed rather expensive to me....so I put it back! Got home and really wished I'd have just got it! Lol

yes it is rather pricey.. the bag isnt that big, but you dont use a lot of it so it does last for a couple of weeks.. (if its only you having it!!)
i tend to use about 30g worth each time so it does last..but it is a bit expensive if you dont like it!

I think I'll give it a go, as yes it'll only be me using it. Might pop to Morrisons in the morning after work to see if they have any, thanks :)
