I used to have a really sweet tooth...would crave sugars...but now I'm on SW I find I crave savoury food instead? And when I do fancy sugar, I really enjoy it. It took about 6 weeks so I don't know if that is the refined sugar weaning out of my system. But don't ever cut it out completley - as you will binge at some point when you are feeling weak. I guess you just got to find a way to tick the box when you fancy some chocolate but not have it in a way that you could damage your weight loss.
When I buy big bars of G&B (maya gold ummmmm) I look up the syns for the whole bar (gasp!) then measure it out into small synned portions (2-3) and wrap them all up seperatly, that way if I fancy a choc hit I don't have to sit in front of my laptop with a massive bar open. Plus can always go back and get another one if its within my limits for the day
Good luck with it though, i was worried about cutting out sugary stuff but I don't miss it as much as I miss bread, drowning in olive oil
