Motivated And Ready To Hit The 9's!

Hi all:) i'v decided to start a diary here on minimins as i'm feeling really motivated recently, and i love talking to other people about weight loss and having people join me along the journey. I weigh in at on Thursdays at 7pm, and i currently weigh 10st 6lb and gagging to hit the 9's!

so todays food intake, 04/03/2013

Breakfast: orange sprinkled with chocolate mullerlight on chopped banana

Lunch: Bachelors savoury rice, 2 alpen lights and another banana

Snack: marks and spencers strawberry and white choc popcorn (6 syns) <-- this stuff is seriously lush!

Dinner: Turkey meatballs, tagliatelle and vegetables, then a raspberry shape yoghurt after.

Total Syns: 6

pretty good day food wise:)
 
Going to a hula hooping class with mum tonight! will be a giggle, i heard its pretty good excersise to.. bonus :)

Breakfast: vanilla mullerlight, chopped banana and an alpen light crushed on top (1/2 hex b).

snack: babybell (hex a), alpen light (other 1/2 hex b)

lunch: ainsley harriott couscous (1.5 syns), apple, funsize milky way (5 syns)

Then for dinner i have pesto pasta (2.5 syns) and salmon planned, and a shape cherry yoghurt aswell. :)

Total syns: 9
 
hula hooping was so fun, deffinetly going again! hips aching today though!

weigh in tomorrow! actually quite worried, as i'v been 100% this week, not even 1 slip up, but my wii scales are showing a 0.5lb gain! fingers crossed there wrong as i defiantly deserve a decent loss this week! i do feel like im eating lots on slimming world though, but it seems to work for so many people i dont see why it wouldnt for me?

lunch: tescos savoury rice (1.5), apple, strawberry and white choc popcorn (6)

dinner: jacket potato, beans, cheese (hexa), orange sprinkled with chocolate muller light.

Total Syns: 7.5

okay, i didnt have time to update yesterday and i was a bit down as i stayed the same at weigh in!:( i really was expecting a loss. but i spoke to our lovely consultent and showed her my food diary for the week, and when looking back at it, i can totally see i havent been eating enough superfree with my meals. so this week im going to really up my superfree intake and see if that helps me loose!

so heres what i ate yesterday:

breakfast: banana, grapes, strawberries, vanilla sprikled with chocolate mullerlight

snack: 2 alpen light bars (hexb)

lunch: vegetable couscous (1.5) special k cracker crisps (4.5) <--- heres a good example of my lack of superfree in meals! slap on the wrist for me :sign0007:

snack: cherry underlay mullerlight (1.5)

dinner: sausages, sw wedges and egg

then it was time for a little treat, it was weigh day after all!;) Enjoyed some of mums gorgeous homemade cranberry fudge, lush!


And today has gone well so far :)

Breakfast: orange sprinkled with chocolate mullerlight, blackberries and strawberries

snack: cucumber and pepper sticks

lunch: chicken sandwhich - 2 wholemeal bread (hexb) 2tsp flora lighter than light (1) and chicken. blackberry shape yoghurt, blackberries and strawberries.

snack: cherry underlay mullerlight (1.5)

dinner: jacket potato, beans, cheese (hexa), with a side salad. blackberry shape yoghurt for afters.

syns: 2.5, i'll probably have something later perhaps some mini biscuits or something, i'll add the syns tonight if i do.

lets hope for a loss this week!!! oh and i'v been doing lots of hula hooping, im a bit obsessed i love it!


update: ended up feeling really peckish, normally id end up scoffing loads of chocolate i'd later regret, but i managed to have self control and turned to some m&s mini white chocolate biscuits(6.5) and 2 cherry underlay mullers!(3) quite a bit of food, but all slimming world friendly and within syns! and i feel better for knowing i resisted temptation of lots of chocolate :)
so that brings my total syns to 12, so still under 15:)

breakfast: weekly shop didnt come till later so it was a weird breakfast of an apple and a few chunks of chicken!

lunch: chicken and onion omlette

snack: apple crumble shape yoghurt(0.5)

dinner: sw cheese burger (hexa & hexb) sw wedges with a massive side salad

Total syns: 0.5


mothers day tomorrow, going out for a walk down the beach with the family where we'll be getting lunch at the chippy, but i'm determined not to ruin this week! going to get half a portion of chips with mum (shes also doing sw which makes it easier) and a saveloy which will come to exactly 15 syns:) which is why i'v stayed away from syns today.

Had a lovely morning at the beach, was rather cold though! And in the end we didn't go chippy, instead had lunch at a pub, had a jacket potato with beans and cheese with a side salad:) so saved big time on syns! Oh and I had a cheeky 2 finger kit kat for 5.5 syns ;) so probably had more cheese than my hexa, but it can't come to more than my daily syns with the kit kat:)

Breakfast: strawberries, raspberries and blackberries with mullerlight

Lunch: jacket potato with beans & cheese (hexa) side salad, 2 finger kit kat (5.5)

And for dinner I'm going to be making chicken noodle soup and a wholemeal roll (hexb)

Total syns: 5.5 plus a few for cheese not counted as hexa, can't be to many though.

lunch: half pack of batchelors savoury rice, salad, activia biscuity toffee & banana snackpot (1/2syn)

snack: m&s mini white choc biscuits (6.5syns)

dinner: spaghetti bolognaise and vegetables.

Total syns: 7

I love your use of syns :) I'm using mine on a crunchie tonight at work and had a pasta pot shot chicken flavour for dinner!!

How much have you lost since starting? Xx

Thankyou! Yeah I find it really difficult sometimes, but I'm hoping it will help with my weigh in after staying the same the last 2 weeks! Couldn't stick to it with out syns, I love having a treat:) my favourite at the moment is the biscuity toffee and banana snack pot for only 1/2 a syn, only discovered them the other day, I love them!

I lost a stone doing a calorie controlled diet, then switched to sw and only managed 4lb so far, hoping for lots more though! How about you? Xx

I lost quite a bit I went from 14.3 to 13.1 and then I had a binge and lost it all! I went back up to 13.10 and that was last Tuesday so I've been completely motivated since then and get weighed Friday!

I don't go to class so I do it from home... But sill find it great! I love my syns on chocolate and visits but try to keep below 15 most days!
I wanna try and save some so I can have a weekend day either sat or sun with a little more chocolate or something or some vodka the odd week :p

Yeah I'm the same, such a chocoholic! I do miss stuffing my face with the stuff hahaa, but it's not worth it in the long run:) I usually have 5-9 syns a day, I very rarely drink alcohol so I don't have the temptation hehe :)

There called activia snack pots, they do quite a few free flavours I think, like the plain fruit ones, Iv only tried the biscuity banana and toffee one, deffinetly worth the extra half syn! i got them from asda, they only seemed to have this flavour when i went.X

Dinner: salmon, cous cous, vegetables, activia biscuity toffee and banana snackpot (1/2)

Total syns: 5.5

Off to hula hooping again tonight! :D
