ALL THE FOOD!
So I just got back from my first Slimming World meeting and I'm feeling all motivated to actually get my weight off this time.
I think I will really benefit from recording everything I eat. I like to experiment with food and am really looking forward to trying loads of new things although we are in the process of having a new kitchen so it may not be too exciting this week! I'm also aiming to drink more water, exercise more and smoke less so I will also use this space to record how I am doing with that!
Excited to finally get my weight sorted!

landlayd21 - honestly think it would be better to write your own diary as it will become confusing to those reading it at to whose is whose even though you have different names and will also appear on the front page as only the diary of JustBecky when people are looking for you.
Just go to the bottom of the page and on the left hand side you will see - Post new thread in Slimming World Diaries - click on that and off you go. If you want any more help just ask.

Hi Landlady 21,
I agree with systema. I'm getting confused already just by one entry being there, haha, it doesn't take much!
Systema's idea of starting your own food diary is probably a good one! That way people can read exclusively my food diary or exclusively yours, which is less confusing for everyone. Hope that's not a problem!
Good luck with your slimming world journey! First weigh in on Tuesday for me, very nervous already!

I go to The Gym in town (where I have had a membership since September and have used about 10 times) for cardio stuff and then I go to either the Lenton Centre or the John Carroll Leisure Centre for swimming. I am trying new classes as it is not something I am overly confident in doing at various places, I really enjoy them but feel as though I am being judged for my size and worry about keeping up!
Me and a couple of friends were really cheeky and signed up for a free one day trial at Roko gym in West Bridgford on Sunday where we did the Body Pump class and also made use of the spa facilities of course! What are hoofers classes like? How much are they a time?
-
I went to Ken Martin Centre but as I am not there all the time I had to pay £30 to join each time and then almost the same for a monthly ticket or pay £5 a class. As I was going every morning decided to look somewhere else and found Hoofers.
They charged me £40 for the month and the classes were great - aqua, zumba, fitball, yoga and the pool and quite a mix of ages and sizes but these were all morning classes......H2 Fitness
I was almost 16st when I first started at the gym so know what you mean.
Will have to look at the Bridgford place when we get back, sounds like a good Sunday out.
Good Luck with the weigh-in

I have researched and as a student I can get a membership to Nottingham City Gyms for £21 a month and I worked out that I would only have to go swimming once a week and to one class a month to cover this. It doesn't say anywhere about the initial signup fee so will need to look into that! I have found that I actually love swimming and am really good at it so am going to focus on that rather than cardio stuff which I hate!
