A food diary for everyone!!

Don't know if this is possible or not but I wanted to start a food diary on here of EVERYTHING I eat as I have been struggling in recent months but feel really focussed as got a few parties and weddings coming up and would like to lose a few more pounds BUT I would like anyone who looks at it to also add their food diary for the day so we can all get ideas and compare what we are eating.

I know everyone add's their own food diaries but I find it hard work going through them all but I would like people to not only view and comment on my diary but add their own :)

Today is WI for me and I had a week off work last week and also went away for a few days and ate every takeaway possible including KFC, Mcdonalds, Fish and Chips, Curry...you name it, I had it. So I started to take control again from Monday in the hope of clawing back a pound or so as I felt I'd probably put on about 3-4 pounds so kinda dreading the scales tonight but also looking forward to the fresh start :)

Today I am having:

Breakie - Banana and shape yog

Lunch - 2 slices of w/meal toast with tinned Mackerel in tomato sauce

Snacks - Orange and Apple

I will update in the morning what I have for my tea but I am having a kebab tonight from takeaway so will probably go for the chicken breast kebab :) x
 
Well I put 1.5lb on last night, which was expected so given myself a kick up the bum and I'm ready to get that 1.5 off next week!!

Today's food diary is:

Breakfast - Banana and shape yog

Snack - Strawberries

Lunch - 60g w/meal roll (hb), 2 rashers bacon, lettuce, tomato, 30g cheese, 1tsp extra light mayo (0.5), 13g bag space raiders (3) and an apple.

Tea - fajitas: chicken and beef fried in fry light with fajita spice mix (1), 2 mini tortillas (9), savoury rice with roasted pepper, mushrooms, onions and broccoli.


Total syns = 13.5


Will update if anything changes but I plan my meals ahead so know what I'm having for the day :) x
 
Just updating my diary!!

Saturday =

Brunch - 2 rashers bacon, 1 walls micro sausage (4.5), beans, mushrooms, plum tomatoes, poached egg, hash brown (1.5), 1 60g roll (hb), butter (1).

Tea - 1 Warburtons Thins (5), tomato puree, mushrooms, peppers, spring onions, crabsticks, 30g cheese (ha), lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, gherkins, frozen chips (4), light salad cream (1).

Total syns = 17
 
Today (Sunday) =

Brunch - mushroom and half fat cheese (40g ha) omelette with beans.

Tea is going to be pork loins, potatoes, cabbage, baby sweetcorn, broccoli, cauli, peas, gravy (1.5) and small yorkie (2).

I will have 2 light hi fi bars with a cup of tea for my hb

Total syns = 3.5
 
Well done on starting your diary, I have started one today too as I hope that will keep me on track! I love having a nosey at what everyone else is eating and it's good to gain ideas. Good luck for the rest of your week. Becky x
 
Hi Becky, thanks for the reply! Yes I'm the same I like looking at other peoples diaries to gain ideas as I sometimes feel like I'm eating the same meals week in, week out. I Shall have a look for your diary and subscribe :)



Well yesterday changed a little as I ended up having a rocky road hi-fi bar as a snack (3 syns)

Then I had 2 slices of toast with jam on for my supper (1 syn)

So total syns for yesterday were 7.5 syns
 
Today I've had a banana so far. I plan to have a shape yog and an apple and orange.

Dinner is going to be a jacket potatoe with beans and cheese (ha) and I am actually going out for tea but plan on having meat and jacket potatoe (either gammon or chicken) but will update tomorrow x
 
Yesday (Monday) -

Breakfast = Banana, shape yog

Snack - Apple and bakewell hi fi bar (hb)

Lunch - McCains frozen jacket (1), beans and 40g half fat cheese (ha)

Tea - Chicken, bacon, cheese (5), sweet chilli sauce (1.5), Mayo (2.5), jacket potatoe, lettuce, cucumber, raddish, onion, tomatoe.

Snack - Cockles

Total syns = 10
 
Today's food diary -

Breakfast - Banana and fat free yog.

Snack - Orange

Lunch - Bit of a mixture....had some home made veg soup with two slices of w/meal bread (hb), tin of mackerels in tomato sauce and some crabsticks.

Afternoon snack will be an apple.

Dinner tonight is 3 thin sausages (9) done in a casserole mix (2) with mash and more than likely some mixed veg.

Total syns for today will be 11/15.
 
Additionally yesterday I had an hi fi bar for evening snack so total syns yesterday was 14/15.

Today - Breakfast - 30g chocolate bitesize weetabix (hb), milk from allowance (ha), banana.

Snacks - Apple and Orange

Lunch - Beef savoury rice, mushrooms, peppers, onions, broccoli, sweetcorn and SW quiche with fat free yog.

I'm sleeping at mums tonight so not sure what is on the menu but luckily for me she is also doing slimming world so it will be something slimming world friendly so shall update tomorrow :) x
 
Tea yesterday was chicken breast pizza (chicken, bacon, mushroom, tomato puree, cheese (5)), SW chips, mush peas, and pickles followed by a muller light.

Total syns for yesterday were 5 syns.


Today - Breakfast - Banana and mullerlight

Snacks - apple and orange

Lunch - Mackerel on 2 w/meal toast

Hey, I'm not bad thanks, how are you?

Went to WI tonight and lost a pound...would have liked a little more but it's star week so just got to be grateful it's another pound gone :) x
 
Well lost a lb at WI tonight.

For tea tonight I had SW lasagne: 5% fat mince, tinned tomatoes, mixed herbs, tomatoe puree, onions, mushrooms, beef stock cube, dash of worcestshire sauce, asda cheese sauce (2.5), lasagne cheese and cheese (ha). I served this with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, beetroot, gherkins, pickled onions, light choices salad dressing.

So syns today - 5.5 as I had a small amount of butter on my toast at lunch time
 
Hey well done another pound gone! Like the sound of your tea too! My day has been crap well on the medical front but on the sw front I stayed on plan which is a first for me when things go wrong I always binge. So my day could have been worse x
 
Oh no Beck, hope you get sorted and well soon regards the medical side :-( You are doing really well to stay on plan considering things happening as you could easily give in to temptation x
 
Today:

Breakfast - 30g choc bitesize weetabix, 150 ml semi skimmed milk (part of ha, rest will be used for cups of tea) and banana.

Snack - Shape fat free yog, apple

Dinner will be left over lasagne with salad so (2.5 for white sauce).

I am having an indian takeaway tonight but plan to have chicken jalfrezi (8.5) and boiled rice which is free so will be well within my syn allowance :) x
 
Well not been on for a few days as been really busy with sorting things with new house etc and I've been a bit up and down this week food wise but here's the update!

On Friday I ended up having the indian but I went for boiled rice, chicken tikka (9 syns), onions, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, 1/2 chipatti (3.5) and a few chips (6) syns> So I ended up with 22 syns on Friday :-s
 
Saturday - Brunch was 2 rashers of bacon, beans, omelette, mushrooms and 1 hash brown (1.5).

Tea was pork, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, gherkins, cous cous (1).

Snacks - 2 w/meal bread (hb) and 25g camembert (3.5)

So had 6 syns Saturday......28/105 so far this week
 
Sunday:

Breakie was banana

Lunch was SW lasagne with beetroot and gherkins

Tea was chicken, potatoes, cabbage, sprouts, broccoli, cauli, peas, gravy (1.5)

Snacks - Satsuma, 6 peanut m&m's (guessed at 5 syns at classed it as half a pack), 2 w/meal bread (hb), 30g cheese (ha)

Total 7 syns for day......35/105
