Hi, i started yesterday and its a first time for me. Have previously done weightwatchers, but like the idea of being able to eat without weighing and measuring everything.
At some point I will learn how to put pictures on, if anyone can give me any advice there.
In the meantime I will post my menus on here. If i am going wrong then please tell me. I am only a member online and not going to group.

Toasted Steak Sandwich - Syns FREE (Lynns recipe on pg 6)

Serves 2

ingredients
3 onions, finely sliced
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Low calorie cooking spray
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
350g pack beef steaks, all visible fat removed - I recommend using thin cut sirloin for best results
smile.gif

4 slices wholemeal bread (from a small 400g loaf)
2 tsp English mustard powder
50g fat-free natural fromage frais
Rocket leaves to serve

method
1. Heat a frying pan sprayed with low calorie cooking spray and stir-fry the onions for 3-4 minutes. Reduce the heat, cover and cook for a further 15 minutes, until browned. Stir in the vinegar and remove from the heat.

2. Meanwhile, heat a non-stick griddle pan over a high heat, season the steaks and cook for 2 minutes on each side (for well-done steaks, cook for a further 2 minutes on each side). Remove from the pan, cover with foil and set aside to rest.

3. Toast the bread. Mix together the mustard powder and 4 tsp water, then stir in the fromage frais. Spread onto two of the slices of toast and top with a few rocket leaves.

4. Slice the steak, place over the rocket and top with the onions and remaining toast.

Maggi So Juicy mixes are fab aren't they ! If you do the balti one though.....leave it to marinate for a bit on the meat before adding the toms & it seems to bring the taste out better.

The mexican chicken one is lush as is the garlic & herb. xxx
Are all the maggi so juicy 2.5 syns hun? Xx -No the maggi one i had- (oriental and soy) was 5 syns but it was split btwn me and hubby so only 2.5 for my portion. the others are around the same ranging 4-6 syns apart from the crispy ones they are around 16.5 syns! i can look it up for you if you get one hun so you know exactly. Each bag makes around 4 chicken breasts and will serve 2-4 depending on size of chicken breast. i have a balti one to try next it's 4.5 syns so will only be 2 syns roughly for my serving

Hiya, is the coronation chicken taken from the main site?

no hun its my own recipe
smile.gif
here it is:

Serves 2 (1 syn per serving)

2 skinless cooked chicken breasts
200ml fat free natural yogurt (more if you like it saucier)
tbsp curry powder - mild works best for this
tbsp mango chutney (2 syns) - i had run out of this so didn't use it last night and it still tasted good

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl & serve.

Hi hun, the mushrooms are just done in 1 clove garlic and butter flavoured fry light with a sprinkle of parsley very easy and very tasty! and yeah just fry the onions in regular frylight then ad a few dashes of balsamic vinegar near the end of cooking, they are beautiful and go with anything! xxx

It has something to do with posting..... Trying to remember think you need to have at least 50 posts before you can add pics. X

Not if you post your food on your dairy every day and on another post put down what you are doing that day and what you actually did at the end of the day. Look and read through others dairies and leave a post saying you had been there and what you liked about their dairy. Of course also reply like we doing here means you are boosting your posts too x

Hi, i have now tried twice and don't seem to be losing any weight. Wondered if maybe i was maybe eating too much. I usually stick to the serving suggestions mentioned ie for pasta and rice. I do though most often have a cooked breakfast though as not much into cereal etc. This is usually low fat bacon, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and scrambeld egg. Should i not eat a cooked breakfast as often?
Its just usually i can lose 5-6lbs in 1st week on weightwatchers, but found it might only be 2 on this. I am not keen to go back to ww as too much weighing. I like not having to weigh everything

Anyone any advice? HELP!!

Starting yet again on SW tomorrow. Completly blind though as not joining online (too expensive) or a group.

Just a couple of questions.
I know i can have milk or cheese as a healthy extra- how much skimmed milk and how much semi skimmed is the allowance?
2 babybel lights- is this 1 HEA?
If i have 40g of low fat hceese is this correct?

I hope someone can advise me. I hope to get some books soon but in the mean time, any help would do
