Hello, I have been browsing this site for over a year but have only just decided to post! I have done slimming world for the last year and a half on and off but have just gained and lost the same stone. I joined group again on Monday and this time I am taking it seriously! I'm feeling in the zone at the moment so have decided to start a food diary to keep me on track :) I do a mixture if extra easy, green and red and have about four stone to lose (currently 13st 11and a half).

Today was a green day:

Breakfast: frittata with cottage spinach, cabbage and broccoli (i had loads!)

Lunch: wholemeal roll (healthy extra b) with lettuce and 1 laughing cow extra light (1 syn), carrot sticks and ryvita minis (healthy extra b)

Dinner: lentil bologneise (had loads of superfree in it) served with spaghetti and broccoli plus 30g cheddar ( healthy extra a)

Extras: I made an iced vanilla latte using the douwe Egbert vanilla coffee, 250ml semi skimmed milk (healthy extra a) with half a tsp of sugar (half a syn) and 12g anchor light cream (1 syn). I also had a galaxy cookie crumble (12 syns), these are yummy :)

Total syns: 14 and a half

I will be posting pics of meals but it won't let me at the mo, perhaps because I don't have enough posts.
 
Today's plan is green again:

Breakfast: frittata with broccoli and 1 Linda McCartney rosemary and onion sausage

Lunch: wholemeal roll (healthy b) spread with 1 laughing cow extra light (1 syn) and baked beans, with carrot sticks and a Special K chewy delight bar (healthy b)

Dinner: left over lentil bologneise served with chilli and garlic chips and spinach, plus 30g cheddar sprinkled on as my healthy A

Extras: I may do another iced latte with my other healthy a as it was lovely yesterday, so 1 and a half syns for that (sugar and cream) and then galaxy for 12 syns

Total: 14 and a half
 
Yay it's Friday! Another green day today.

Breakfast: wholemeal roll (healthy b) topped with two poached eggs and an apple

Lunch: jacket potato with baked beans and cheese (healthy a), carrot sticks and Special K chewy delight bar (healthy b)

Dinner: quorn chilli with lots of superfree, rice and vegetables

Extras: syns will go on chocolate (12) and I may have 250ml milk as my other healthy extra a if I feel like it

Total syns: 12
 
Red day today I think but could change if I decide i need carbs!

Breakfast: wholemeal roll (healthy b) with two poached eggs and an apple. This is brunch really seeing as tho only just having it!

Lunch: 2 ryvitas (healthy b) topped with lettuce and tuna

Dinner: grilled hoisin chicken (taste of Asia book) with stir fry vegetables - pak choi, bran sprouts and broccoli

Extras: have a healthy a to have so will probably grab a small skinny latte from costa and use that. Will also have chocolate for 12 syns :)

Total: 12
 
Oh no weekends nearly over! Goes so quick. Off to a fun day/county show today, have eaten before we go but will take a chewy delight bar (syns) to have incase I get tempted to have an ice cream, cake etc!

Extra easy day today as we have people round today

Brunch: wholemeal roll (healthy b) with baked beans and cheese (healthy a). No superfree but oh well.

Dinner: we have people round for dinner (they are on sw) so making a home made Chinese. Lemon chicken, chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, chips and stir fry veg - all syn free apart from 1 syns each worth of corn flour. Then we will have meringue (4 syns) with 12 g anchor light squirty cream (1syn) with strawberries.

I will also have some chocolate with my remaining syns.

But I like ur way of thinking. Syns on chocolate lol. Wish I had some in
 
Hi, thanks for subscribing! Haha yep most if my syns go on chocolate, especially galaxy. I'm a chocoholic lol
 
Had first weigh in today and lost 4 and a half pounds which I'm really pleased with, I'm not huge loser usually plus my scales at home were saying I had gained 2lbs! Needless to say I was relieved lol.

I did a red day today, I haven't really eaten an awful lot as haven't felt very hungry which is rare for me (I haven't eaten little just because its weigh in tho, i don't want to get into that kind of habit).

Breakfast: 30 gall bran golden crunch (healthy b) with 125ml semi skimmed milk (healthy a, didn't use the rest of the allowance tho)

Lunch: 2 m & s mini wholemeal sub rolls (healthy b) spread with one laughing cow extra light (1syn)

Dinner: 2 egg omelette with Linda McCartney rosemary and onion sausages, 30g cheddar (healthy a)

Subs: chocolate! About 20 syns worth... Oops, will keep syns lower next few days to make up for it.
Not a good day, didn't eat or drink enough and haven't had any superfree at all lol

I can't wait til I have enough posts to post photos of my meals!

I completely agree haha! Would love to be able to spare some of my daily syns for an actual bar of chocolate! :( Closest I have come lately is a Freddo and as amazingly delicious as it was...it just wasn't enough, booo!

Without my chocolate fix I'd definitely fail lol.

Extra easy day today

Breakfast: this sounds really weird but I had vegetables (spinach, cabbage and broccoli) with White basmatti rice. Sounds odd but didn't know what to have lol and actually quite enjoyed it

Lunch: 2 ryvita (healthy b) with fat free cottage cheese, as well as carrot sticks and king prawns.

Dinner: tuna fish cakes with pasta and vegetables

Extras: I have had a mcdonalds regular latte which I will use as my healthy a and add 2 syns for the rest. I will have an apple if I am hungry this morning, and perhaps a yoghurt but try not to eat too many sweeteners so will see whether I need it or not. Syns on choc lol

Total syns: 14 and a half
 
There was a change if plan for dinner so I had 2 Linda McCartney rosemary and onion sausages, chips, and veg. Small portion (for me anyway) as I had quite a few of the chips before I ate lol. So pleased I can post pics now!

Food today is a green day

Breakfast: a bowl of brown rice with spinach and cabbage (I must sound really weird lol)

Lunch: 2 m&s mini wholemeal sub rolls (healthy b) with 30g cheddar (healthy a), pack of ryvita minis (healthy b) and carrot sticks and an apple

Dinner: spicy quorn mince with noodles and vegetables

Extras: I may use my other healthy a on semi skimmed milk but not sure yet will see how I feel. Galaxy :)

Total syns: 12 and a half
 
Here's dinner today, looks a bit if a mess and a massive portion but it was lovely! Had green beans and broccoli on the side as well... Stuffed now lol. And plus, I didn't cook (went to parents who follow sw) so that was nice

Today is extra easy

Breakfast: 30g all bran golden crunch (healthy b) with fat free fromage frais and an apple

Lunch: Tesco chilli chicken noodle salad (2 and a half syns) and carrot sticks

Dinner: chicken and potato curry with brown rice and vegetables

Extras: I will have 30g cheddar as my healthy a, may just have it by itself as I love cheese. Also, galaxy cookie crumble for 12 syns

Total syns: 14 and a half
 
Just finished dinner, very nice too. Added fromage frais at the end to make it creamy. It would have been really nice with some spinach and cauliflower in it but partner wouldn't have touched it!

Chicken and potato curry with rice (went for white in the end) with spinach and Brussels sprouts.

I just started to eat the scan bran cake i made for breakfast but its disgusting! really dry and tasteless. hate wasting food but will chuck it away. I made one before and it was ok but this one is really weird.

Green day today

Breakfast: fat free fromage frais, hifi deluxe bar (healthy b), apple

Lunch: baked beans with cheese ( healthy a) on a wholemeal roll ( healthy b) with carrot sticks

Dinner: chickpea dhal with noodles and vegetables
Extras: galaxy of course, and may have a skinny latte ( costa) and use it as my other healthy a

Total syns: 12

Bit of a lazy/ boring food today but its Friday lol
 
Change of plan for dinner last night, had a 7 syn (measured) chicken chow mein. Was nice but very greasy, had some steamed rice too.

Going to the sea side today, taking lunch so I don't get an ice cream! Green day

Brunch: leftover steamed rice and a steam bag of vegetables

Lunch: hifi deluxe bar (healthy b), ryvita minis (healthy b), 30g cheddar (healthy a), carrot sticks and an apple

Dinner: quorn bologneise with pasta - going to partners mums who also does sw so very handy

Extras: 250ml semi skimmed milk warmed up with a tea spoon of sugar (1 syn), galaxy bubbles (9)

Total syns: 10
 
Had a nice time at the beach, went to whitstable. . Was hard eating my carrot sticks while bf had ice cream so I pretended lol. Really fancied a costa latte but settled for an Americans and milk (2 syns worth).

Spaghetti bologneise was lovely
