    Today was also red.

    Breakfast: crunchy bran (HExB1) with 160m skimmed milk (from HExA), apple and banana.

    Lunch: leftovers from last night's dinner with potatoes and peas (HExB2). Melon

    Dinner: chicken in tomato sauce, roasted onions, carrots and beetroot, broccoli. Activia yogurt.

    Snacks: 2 Babybel light (HEXA). Satsumas. And, obviously, cake! (10 Syns)

    Thursday, after lunch and I still haven't decided whether today is EE or Red! Met a friend for lunch and didn't repeat last week's mistake of choosing gammon.

    Breakfast: berries, apple and yogurt

    Lunch: Salmon and salad - no dressing but a few flakes of Parmesan on top (part of HExA1 or a couple of Syns)

    Tea (as late night at work - again): 4 Ryvitas (HExB1), Philly light (HExA2). Activia yogurt and melon.

    Supper: to be updated as it depends what I feel like when I get home.

    Snacks: tba

    I want to get back to target! And I keep messing up!
    So I've reset everything (again, again) and this is what I want to achieve
    :

    START (7/7/14) - 79.4 Kg (12:7 - exactly 1 st over target )
    1. Get back to where I was at the start of the year - 77.5 (12:2¾)
    - achieved 14/7/14
    . . . Pah went back over (8/09) - back under again (22/9) - still clinging on (10/11)
    . . . RATS went well and truly over again (17/11)

    Thanks ladies, but I've tried those ideas and they don't wash. I think because he knows he will get the lion's share of 'my' treat! (Thankfully, he isn't clever enough to think 'Flowers = Roses = Chocolates'!

    Now, to get down to serious matters (!), an update for yesterday, which did become a Red day:

    Supper: 2 poached eggs on toast (HExB2). Melon.

    Snacks: 1/2 a Graze punnet of dried fruit (3 Syns) and a different Graze snack of 'bits' and a dip. The entire snack was worth 4 Syns and I'll count it as that even though I left the dip. No cake - supper was late - but we haven't finished the first one yet!

    So 7 Syns for the day.

    Later I'll have 2 more Babybel lights and another 1/2 HExB. I had planned to have new potatoes as my second HExB, but didn't fancy them so may end up having only 1 B choice today.

    Saturday and I've stuck with Red. Unfortunately, I had a minor blip because I forgot that I'd used 1/2 a HE for breakfast so ended up having to Syn it!

    Lunch: open salad sandwich (HExB1) with salmon.

    Dinner: Red pepper and chicken Malaysian curry (1 Syn). New potatoes (HExB2). Melon and mango.

    Snacks: toasted teacake (8 Syns), 3 Nairn's oatcakes (3 Syns)

    Later I'll have some cheese (HExA) with a pear and do my best to avoid some cake!

    Total Syns: 15 (Brilliant for a Saturday and, just to confirm, the teacake was 'naked' - no forgotten Synnage there!)

    I chose a green day today as I thought I'd better have a carb-rich day in the hope that it'll stop me going off on a binge.

    Breakfast: mango and orange with yogurt

    Lunch: tomato, veg and lentils on wholemeal toast (HExB1). 30g rf cheddar (3/4 HExA1). Pear.

    Dinner: cauliflower cheese (HExA2 + 3 Syns), chips (3 Syns). Ketchup (2). Mixed melon and grapes

    Snacks: popcorn (2), 1/2 Scan Bran cake (1/2 HExB2 + 1)

    Total Syns = 11 so I may have a few Syn's worth of treats later!

    I have been making some pom-poms today for the charity Sense which helps deaf-blind people. If you have a few moments to spare please make one or more and send or take it to Sense. You can make your pom-pom any size and out of any material you have to hand - it only takes a few minutes and post and packing won't be much. Full instructions on the Sense website if you need them.     Ah - completely forgot to post yesterday's diary! It was a red day and OK except I didn't have any HExA, apart from a splash of milk in a cup of tea (but plenty of yogurt, so I won't go short of calcium).

    I was rather over with Syns though as I had a 'back from holiday' biscuit supplied by one of my colleagues and a 'Fat Rascal' as supplied by OH which is probably a hundred Syns!

    (If you don't know what a Fat Rascal is, Google it. Unfortunately the 'famous' tea shop which is this year celebrating 30 years of making them has two branches in my home town and OH goes there for coffee regularly)!
