Right so I'm starting a slimming world class on Saturday and people have told me that keeping a diary has really helped them lose weight

I'm currently in the 13s bracket after having my beautiful son Oliver...however he turns one next month and I'm not exactly the yummy mummy who's has a 3 week old and their stomach is as flat as an ironing board! My belly is rather disgusting and I'm ashamed that I haven't lost any baby weight...I feel a failure to my OH and I seriously need to do something about it!

I've been on all the fad diets and seemed to have put more on so I'm dedicating my self to slimming world - no matter how long it takes! (I wish there was a magic wand to get me skinny the next day!!)

So here's my first and last diary ?

So i've been shopping today ahead of tomorrow, bought fruit, veg etc...my fridge has never looked so full! I'm pretty nervous about tomorrow, I don't really want to see what my start weight is because i know it's going to be the heaviest i have ever been! at least i'm doing something about it right?.....

when I started I was mortified at how heavy i was! The Leader just said to me- Forget that number because you will never be that weight again, really helped put a positive spin on being my heaviest ever x

Yeah that is a good way of putting it! How long have you been on SW?

I joined SW last night + I was ssssoooooo embarressed when I stepped on the scales and show what weight I was. The heaviest I have been EVER!! I am determined to lose the weight :) we can do it :D

Aw really! It does make you more determined when you know you're the heaviest you've ever been! What plan are you doing? How much would you like to lose?

Im doing the EE plan, well hoping 2... takes abit to get your head round it. Im looking to lose 4.5stone, it will take me a while but ill get there. :) have got the josie gibson dvd + im gonna start that 2moro... eeekkkkk..!! Thats the plan anyway lol

Hi Laura. I'm pretty new to all this myself. I'm on my 2nd week now. My first week I taught went well... I kept the food diary. Wrote everything down. So my first weigh in arrived since joining.. Was Monday gone. I was expecting too Loose about 3/4 lbs... Stepped on the scales nd I was the same as my starting weight... To say the least I was gutted. I wanted to walk back out the door. But I'm sticking to it. My consultant had a look threw my previous 1st week food diary and explained a few things I'd done wrong. So come Monday in my 2nd class nd I'm feeling very positive...

I started officially today! Weighed in at 13st 5lb so want to get to 10st! I feel really motivated - which isn't like me! My consultant said today the if you lose 2lb a week till Christmas, you will lose 3stone! So that's my goal :)

Think I'm going to do EE too so we can help each other out :) I got the Davina DVD for Christmas and the wrapper is stil on the DVD....think it's time to get that wrapper off!
Let me know how the Josie DVD is - she looks amazing now doesn't she!?

Oh no that must b horrible...when you try so hard and don't see the results! My mum is on her third week and in her second week she put 1/2 on! And she couldn't understand why! And today she lost 6lb! She said she didn't do anything different so keep at it love :)

There are some women in the class who are so slim and I'm like why are you here?! They look amazing! Hopefully one day ill look like them :)

I haven't had anything to eat yet as I'm not hungry! So I don't see why I should eat?

Aww... dont b feeling down about how much you weigh... when I joined this week I told meself that its the last time I will be that weight EVER!! I can b pretty determined when I want to be :)

Enjoy something nice to eat... my WI day is a Thursday, so after I get weighed I go to the local chinese and treat myself :D

Hi Laura hope you don't mind me joining you guys :) I am changing to ee from red as have sts for a few weeks now.. here is my diary for the day.. any pointers please feel free to add :)

EE.

B: coffee with (hea) french toast (heb) and yogurt (2 syns) was going to have berries with it but fridge is empty (went shopping this morning)

L: tuna salad with half a packet of roasted vegetable couscous and homemade coleslaw (made with ff yogurt)

D: 2 x quorn sausages, carrot and swede mash, broccoli, cabbage and mangetout. With a little gravy (3 syns?)

Snacks: strawberries and blueberries with yogurt (2 syns) and a 'gold' bar biscuit (5 syns) Would be grateful for any pointers or ideas

Hiya nic!

Your diary seems pretty good to me :)! Does your cous cous have syns in it? I know that ainsley Harriet ones have syns in them? And also your quorn sausages?

How do you make French toast :)? Sounds yummy!!
