So here goes...the journey begins. To shed a little light regarding myself..I lost abit of weight between 2006 - 2011 I lost around 4 stone. However in 2011 my world came crashing down when I lost my dear mother. My weight since then has went up considerably, nowhere near what I was back in the day, but still enough to make me feel it was time for a change. I have booked a trip to NYC in March and one of my best friends is getting married then too, I want to look fabulous in the photos and fit into dress sizes that I haven't for a very long time.

I'm feeling positive and scared but most of all I'm determined. Wish me luck :cross:

Breakfast

2 Boiled Eggs, Alpen Light Bar (summer fruits), 2 Coffees with 2 x dash of 1% fat Milk and four sweeteners - Free Foods, Hex A & Hex B

Mid Morning Snack

A Banana, a handful of blueberries and a MullerLight Greek Style Toffee Yoghurt - Free Foods and 0.5 syns (If you have a sweet tooth I can highly recommend this it was absolutely heavenly)

Lunch

Mug Shot Sweet & Spicy and a tub of blueberries - free

Dinner

Fusilli Pasta, a large red pepper, a handful of mushrooms, a red onion, a knorr chicken stock pot and half a tub of Kerry LowLow black pepper spread - 2.5 syns for the cheese apart from that it was all free and may I add absolutely delicious!

Mid Morning Snack

An Apple, 2 x Pukka Peppermint and Licorice tea, 2 Alpen Light Bars - Free and Hex B.

Lunch

Mug Shot Chicken Flavour, a tub of apples and blueberries mixed in with MullerLight Greek Style Toffee Yoghurt - Free Foods and 0.5 syns for the yoghurt

Dinner

A salad consisting of lettuce, radish, spring onion, yellow pepper, tomatoes, red onion and cucumber. Two levelled spoons of lighter than light Mayo, with a sprinkling of paprika for kick and some JW dressed crab. - Free Foods and 1 syn for Mayo.

Snacks

A Packet of C + O Square crisps and pack of BM Turkey chunks - 5.5 syns for the crisps and free.

Hi, your food diaries look fine, and you have an amazing incentive to lose weight ..... nothing like a wedding to get you focussed:)
So sorry to hear about your mum, I know how hard that is.
Are you going to a class, or doing this on your own? However you're doing it - good luck with your goals.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm going to a group..it's a very strange diary in that I can basically eat what I want and the things I enjoy and I don't feel guilty..onto day three and it's the weekend. This will be the true test for me :)

2 Linda McCartney veggie sausages, a wee mix of red onion and mushrooms, a tin of spaghetti - Free Foods and 4 syns for the sausages.

Mid Morning Snackage

Some blueberries, a Mullerlight Greek style caramel yoghurt and 2 cups of coffee with a dash of milk and 4 sweeteners - Free Foods and Hex A plus 0.5 syns for the yoghurt.

Lunch

1 babybel light and 2 Alpen Light bars - 2 syns and Hex B.

Afternoon snackage

3 Bananas, a fig and a handful of strawberries

Dinner

Pasta with broccoli, mushrooms, baby corn and garlic in a Kerry Low Low Pepper sauce with a Veggie stock pot to add more flavour. Free and 2.5 syns for the cheese.

Mid Afternoon mischief

I got my period today so I've been feeling horrible I really felt like some treats so I succumbed and got a packet of Special K s & v crisps, a Freddo and a can of Relentless Sugar Free. 10.5 syns..I feel naughty but it was required!

I've started prep for dinner I'm going to attempt the infamous Mushy Pea Curry

I get weighed on Wednesday night so fingers crossed! Yeah I find porridge really fills me up.

What LM sausages do you have? There are LM Rosemary and red onion veggie sausages which are syn free if you like LM ones! x
 
The LM sausages are just the regular veggie ones can't find the red onion ones anywhere :(

I love NYC too I haven't been in nearly four years but there's still so much I want to see and do.

I'm excited and scared for weigh in. It's abit daunting but I've been a good girl so fingers crossed :)

Sorry for my absence I've been at my bfs and I'd rather not talk about the amount of booze I consumed. I did eat healthy though I took a bag of all my 'free' things and we would usually order takeaway but never :) Anyhow back on track today.
