Thought it would be a good idea to post a diary here to help keep me on track and motivated.

Monday 21st October

RED DAY

Breakfast
- 2 eggs, 2 quorn sausages, 2 bacon medallions, tomatoes, mushrooms.

Snack 2 Alpen light bars (HEB1)

Lunch - Autumn one pot hash (eggs, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, new potatoes (HEB2), LF cheese (HEA1), mullerlight yoghurt, pombears (5 syns)

Dinner - bolognese sauce (with loads of superfree added), 35g pasta (4.5 syns), 2 finger kitkat (5.5 syns)

HEA2 - 350 mls skimmed milk

Total syns- 15

Exercise - Davina Power of Three dvd
 
TUESDAY 22ND OCTOBER

Extra Easy:

Breakfast 2 eggs, 2 quorn sausages, 2 bacon medallions, tomatoes, mushrooms

Snack Hifi Christmas pudding

Lunch - Autumn one pot hash (eggs, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, new potatoes, LF cheese (6 syns), mullerlight yoghurt, pombears (5 syns)

Snack banana and pears

Dinner - mushy pea curry and brown rice

HEA - 350 mls skimmed milk

Total syns 11 syns

Exercise - walk to work (1.2 miles each way)
 
STS last night at weigh in which I am ok with as I had been away the weekend and my eating was a bit out of control :( but right back on it when I got home and did a red day too, which I am convinced help me get a STS. Nothing to distract me this coming week though!

THURSDAY 24TH OCTOBER

GREEN DAY

Breakfast - quinoa porridge (1 syns) with banana and dried fruit (HEB1)

Snack - Special K chewy delight (HEB2)

Lunch - roasted tofu (in Frylight), lettuce, tomato, cucumber, 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce (2 syns), pombears (5 syns), mullerlight yoghurt

Snack - melon and grapes

Dinner - jacket potato, beans, 40g LF cheddar (HEA1), 2 finger kitkat (5.5 syns)

HEA2 - milk

Total syns - 13.5

Exercise - davina 30 mins workout (1 section), 30 mins.
 
DAY= FRIDAY 25TH OCTOBER - GREEN DAY

HEA1
: skimmed milk
HEA2: Lauging cow light cheese triangles
HEB1: Crackerbread (old packet)
HEB2: Special K chewy delight

Breakfast: quinoa porridge (1 syns for half satchet of options) banana

Snack: Special K chewy delight

Lunch: roasted tofu (in Frylight), lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sweet chilli sauce (2 syns) cracker bread and laughing cow light cheese triangles

Snack: melon

Dinner: mushy pea curry, brown rice, 2 finger kitkat (5.5 syns)

Total syns for day: 8.5

Exercise: walking to work

Dinner - homemade sweet and sour chicken (from the 50 original cookbook) with added peppers onion and carrots. Rice. Muller light white chocolate dessert. 5 syns.

HEA2: ?? not sure yet maybe Babybel light
HEB1: 40g all bran
HEB2: 2 alpen light bars

Breakfast: All bran and banana

Snack: Alpen light bar

Lunch: BNS and red pepper soup, mullerlight, pombears (5 syns)

Snack: grapes and alpen light bar

Dinner: Vegetable and bean jambalaya, muller light white chocolate dessert (5 syns)

Total syns for day: 10

Exercise: walking to work and Davina superbody workout
 
DAY= TUESDAY 29TH OCTOBER - RED DAY

HEA1
: skimmed milk
HEA2: 2 babybels
HEB1: 1 slice wholemeal toast
HEB2: 2 alpen light bars

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 quorn sausages, 2 bacon medallions, tomatoes and mushrooms, 1 slice toast with spread ( 1 syn )

Snack: Alpen light bar

Lunch: BNS and red pepper soup, mullerlight, pombears (5 syns)

Snack: banana and alpen light bar

Dinner: slow cooker spiced beef with cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and 50g peas (1.5 syns)

Total syns for day: 13

Exercise: none today, having a deep tissue back massage instead.
 
its weigh in today, my scales say 1lb down fingers crossed it stays like that. I'm a bit naughty on weigh in day, I have breakfast and a mid day snack then nothing until after WI when I have a takeaway, I know I won't be able to get away with it forever though...........

Lost 2lbs last night very very happy.

DAY= THURSDAY 31 OCTOBER - GREEN DAY

HEB1: 1 slice wholemeal toast
HEB2: 1 Hifi bar - christmas pudding

Breakfast: SW pancake, chopped banana and pear and FF greek yoghurt

Snack: Hifi bar

Lunch: BNS and red pepper soup, mullerlight, pombears (5 syns), 1 slice WM bread

Snack: melon and grapes

Dinner: jacket potato cheese and beans (will either add mushrooms to the beans or salad), 1 small Halloween cupcake (10 syns)

Total syns for day: 15

Exercise: walking to work (1.2 miles each way).

Dinner: Gammon, egg, SW chips, peas, mushrooms, Ketchup (2 syns), Yoghurt coated raisins (5.5 syns)

Total syns for day: 12

I thought it was a good idea, now not to sure LOL - because of my DSD and Osteoarthitis I thought I could never attempt anything like this as I can't do high impact exercises, but an American Arthritis forum has converted the high impact moves to low impact so I'm going to give it a go for 30 days and see how I get on.

Dinner: Maggi so juicy mexican chicken (with loads of onion, mushrooms and peppers) (1.5 syns), Batchelors golden vegetable rice, Mullerlight white chocolate dessert (5 syns)

Total syns for day: 13.5
