    A little bit abt me, I first started dieting at the age of 17 weighing in at a WW group at 14st 4lbs. I'm now 27 and weighed in last night at a slimming world group at 13st 10lbs. So after endless years of yo-yo dieting between weight watchers, calorie counting, cambridge diet, lighter life, herbalife....u name it, iv done it! I have decided to look at slimming world in a new way. More of a healthy lifestyle that can be maintained without me feeling constantly guilty abt not being able 2 maintain fad diets which only results in me binging then feeling really bad abt by myself! Also me and my partner have decided to try for a baby so it's a really important time for me 2 make a positive change!! I will b flexi syn'in I know it's not recommended but I really want this 2 work for me so I hope that this makes it all a bit easier!! Oh and iv also stopped smoking as well so it's a double whammy lol x hope you enjoy my diary I'll add pics where poss x

    Sorry guys my wifi has been down & not bn able 2 get on!! A pineapple lolly is jst pineapple cut in the shape of a lolly lol x

    How u guys doing? I'm really struggling 2 adjust 2 the fact that I can actually eat carbs after being on herbalife for so long which is totally against simple carbs! It's really hard 2 get ur head round lol xx

    Here to subscribe...I am in a very similar position to yourself...I am also 27 and tried most diets but always come back to slimming world as it fits my home life. Me and my partner are also trying for a baby and after going to the docs and her telling me it would help to lose a bit of weight, it gave me the kick up the bum I needed. I don't go to group but I started back on it last week and started a diary up on here.

    Well that's kinda what happened 2 me as well! During a routine well woman app we where discussing the fact that me & Jamie r trying for a baby & she kinda slipped in how important a healthy BMI is whilst trying 2 conceive so I took that as a subtle hint lol how long have u been ttc? This is our 3rd cycle. R u enjoying slimming world? Really nd 2 update this diary lol x

    Well at least your Dr told you in a nice subtle way....mine just came out with it haha. I thought the cheeky b*tch BUT I suppose she is right...would have just been nice for her to do it in a nicer way maybe. We are on our 6th cycle......it is sooo hard...never thought it would take this long tbh. My cycles were a little messed up when I first came off Microgynon in April, they were lasting anywhere from 35-42 days but I started taking Agnus Castus and luckily it has brought them back down to 32 days, which I can cope with :-)

    Yes I love slimming world. I did it last year and lost a stone on it and then since then I have managed to put 5lb back on, so want to get back to the stone off sharpish and then carry on from there :-) I had a dabble at the 5:2 but realised it weren't any good while trying to conceive so that's why I have come back to slimming world and also slimming world fits in better with my home life as my partner will eat slimming world meals. How are you finding it? x

    I stopped my pill in September & my period has been every 21 days since then. I spoke 2 the gynaecologist coz I wasn't sure how a 21day cycle would affect fertility but she said that, that should b any cause for concern! I was so obsessed abt it at the start constantly googling & giving Jamie a pretty hard time tbh but iv calmed down a bit now probz coz iv not had much time 2 think abt it with Christmas preparations!

    I'm kinda struggling with slimming world tbh I jst don't know how u can poss eat white pasta & rice & still lose weight lol think it's coz my head had totally bn destroyed with all these other diets! I'm really going 2 make an effort 2moro 2 update my diary maybe that will keep me going lol x

    You don't have to have white pasta if you don't want Hun don't force yourself just because it's allowed. You can still choose brown rice brown pasta or quinoa or something!

    Ah that's good that your cycle kinda went back to normal....there are so many people's that are messed up and don't even start again. I was fortunate that mine also started straight away :-) It is very hard nd very obsessive...especially the two week wait period. It's just because it's something we want so badly and it's out of our hands.

    It is very hard to get your head around slimming world if you have been doing other diets. I have done slimming world a lot so I struggled going to calorie counting and I was just choosing the wrong foods to eat when doing 5:2, barely ate fruit etc. You just have to trust the diet and that it DOES work if you are 100% on plan. Yes if you update your diary, people can then give you feedback if you need it. Good luck! x
