As the title says - I must get back on track with slimming world. I started doing 5:2 over last few weeks to give me a kick start and it did work, lost 4lb but that is not a long term diet and it didn't really suit my home life, so I am now starting back with sw. I know it works when I put my mind to it and I wanted somewhere to write my food, good or bad! I would like you to point out if I am doing something wrong plzzzz. So here goes....:
Tues 10/12/13 - EE
1 tea with 2 sweeteners
30g sachet Ready Brek - 5.5 syns
250 ml milk - HXA - used for cereal and tea throughout day
1 tsp sugar - 1 syn
4 Original Ryvita - HXB
Tin of Mackerel in Tomato sauce
1 SW cheese scone (smash)
5 cherry tomatoes
Salad - (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, beetroot, gherkins, boiled egg)
1/2 tbsp light mayo - 1 syn
Drinks - 2 x tea with sweeteners (milk from allowance), diet coke, diet lemonade, water.
HXA - 250ml SS Milk
HXB - 4 Ryvita
Total syns - 7.5
Hi angwass, I was calorie counting ( seems to remember chatting over there) but I lost track and have now turned to sw to see me meet my goal weight!

Yes can remember seeing you over there! I found with calorie counting I was just choosing the wrong foods to make my colories up...I am much stricter with myself doing SW and that's why I am back :-) Do you have a diary over here?

Same I did sw before but lost my way and turned to all bad habits etc again! Not this time! X
Well I feel like I have had a really good first day back on SW and I have come to bed with a full tummy :-) Looking forward to another great day tomorrow! x

It feels good doesn't it when you know you have had a good day?!? Well my OH was working a night shift last night and he got in this morning and brought me breakfast in bed. I do usually like to wait to have my breakfast around 9am as it keeps me going but he did it with good intentions so just means having fruit mid morning now :-) Diary for today.....
Weds 11/12/13 - EE
2 w/meal bread toasted - HXB (400g loaf)
1 tbsp light butter - 2.5 syns
1 tea with sweeteners
Pasta bake - (pasta tubes, bacon, orange pepper, onion, mushrooms, light garlic and herb soft cheese (1.5 syns), 15g cheese (1/2 HXA))
1/2 Philladelphia mushroom sauce sachet - 6.5 syns
Plain boiled rice
2 chocs out of advent calendar as didn't open it yesterday - 2 syns
HXA - 1/2 cheese and 1/2 milk
HXB - 2 w/meal bred
Syns - 12.5
I also did 20 minutes on the exercise bike today :-) bring on day 3!!

Hey, today is going great thanks :-)
I made myself a highlights caramel hot chocolate at 2 o'clock BUT I am having a bad day at work and was stressing out and ended up WEARING my hot chocolate instead of drinking it. I am now wet, smelly and got a red leg :-( at least it saved me 2 syns haha x
Ouchie but yay to saving. 2 syns hehe!

Hey! Saving the 2 syns meant I could eat 2 choccies out of my advent calendar...yaaay!
My day certainly did improve.....I put my Christmas tree up tonight with some help from my mum and I also wrapped some pressies up. I am now all tucked up in bed, ready for another good food day tomorrow. Hope you've had a good day x
Well I am at work and raring to go......only on day 3 but feeling very happy that this week is going great so far :-) my OH wants a takeaway on Saturday which will be a kebab BUT I think I will go for a chicken breast kebab as that should be minimal syns just for the oil used and I shall steer clear of the chippies...I will just get an extra salad :-)

1 Warburtons Thins - 5.0 syns
25g cheese - HXA
1 tbsp light mayo - 2.0 syns
Highlights hot chocolate - 2.0 syns
I may have an Highlights hot chocolate this afternoon but I will update later whether I do or not and this time I will try my hardest not to throw it all over myself! - had my hot choccy in the evening before bed....was yummy :-)
HXA - 25g cheese
HXB - 4 Ryvita
Syns - 9.0 syns
