    Red face My fabulous diary for 2014!

    Hey everyone!

    My name is Natasha and I love my food!

    I've tried SW several times in the past and lost weight but always managed to fall off the plan!

    A few months ago, my wonderful OH asked me to marry him to I have a deadline now to get to target! After reading the stories on here, I thought I'd give SW another go..

    This time I plan to incorporate more than extra easy into my life, trying to cut down on carbs as I know they bloat me and increase the superfree and super speedy foods into my diary! At the minute, I am loosely following paleo but decided that carbs are really hard to cut out altogether!

    I have a gym upstairs so I have no excuse not to get some exercise!

    Please feel free to leave a comment and keep me on the straight and narrow!

    So here's what I had today!

    Breakfast : Toffee nut lattee, without whip and skimmed milk (9 syns)

    Lunch: Chicken and veg rice with seasoning (All SW friendly)

    Snack : Cheddar cheese 25g (Hex A I think still?)

    Dinner : Beef stir fry with noodles and lots of veggies : cauliflower, mangatout, french beans, peas, sweetcorn, pepper and onion..

    I have very little in the house for my HEX b so I'm going to have to search and see if I have anything!

    3 glasses of water

    Pretty bad for the first day tbh, but I wasn't planning on it at breakfast but it seemed a good a day as ever to start!

    Hey guys!

    So far, I've had an orange for breakfast! Planning on an omlette with some tomatoes for lunch... And roast lamb leg today for dinner! Need to get some last minute Christmas shopping in and then I'm done!

    May have been a bit bold last night with some terry's chocolate orange and a beer but I knew it would be hard to restart SW at this time of year!

    Updating!

    Finally went Christmas food shopping today Tried not to throw too many syns into the trolley! I also found lemon drizzle Alpen lights so I am very happy with myself!

    Lunch : Omelette made with 2 eggs, mushrooms and HEX A mozzarella and a fried tomato on the side!

    Snacks : 2 fresh pineapple rings and a diet coke with cherry! Flipping amazing it is!

    I rounded yesterday off with roast lamb (2 syns for gravy) .. It was ok tbh, but not really my taste! Got lamb leftover so planning on making SW lamb rogan josh later!

    Went last night to see frozen in the cinema! It was really good! I had 2 Alpen light bars (HEX B) and diet pepsi and I gave in and shared some nachos with my OH. I read that its 25 syns per serving but we halfed it so hopefully I only ate around 13 syns worth!!


    Today has been really quiet for xmas eve! Planning on going and getting a mani-pedi done now (in xmas theme )

    Food has been : 1 Diet coke, 2 pineapple slices (fresh) and strawberries!

    I don't think 13 syns for the nachos is too bad at all!!
    Your curry sounds lovely- I do love a curry!! One of my weaknesses in fact and OH loves loves loves an Indian! I'm pleased to say that we still have the takeaways whilst I'm on slimming world! Nothing better than being able to have a bit of what you fancy whilst you're 'dieting'.
    My Christmas Eve has been manic! Whilst wrapping I noticed that I'd forgotten to get a family member a present so had to dash out!! Oooops!
    Now veg is prepared, everything is wrapped and I've just poured my first amaretto and diet coke! Time to relax and enjoy Christmas! Sneaky peak on the scales this morning revealed a half a pound loss! I'm allowing myself this evening off and tomorrow evening! My Xmas lunch will be synned but my cheese in the evening and my alcohol will not!
    Food so far today is: 1 x wholemeal roll (HEXB) 30g cheddar (HEXA) ham (free) salad (free) - bag of wotsits (4.5) syns. Tonight I'll be having a Chinese at my friends! I'll pick wisely! Possibly a chow mein.

    Ah thanks steph! Merry Christmas!!

    Well we went out for caroling and I fell off the wagon...

    Had 2 glasses mulled wine and half mince pie..

    Came home and had my rogan josh and then started on the nibbles! Half kettles chrisps bag,one bite of xmas cake and half terrys chocolate orange!

    Going to bed soon as I really don't want to eat any more.. lol

    Feeling very bloated but at least I've started my journey.nobody said it would be easy....

    It's ok to fall off the wagon as long as we get back on it!!
    I'll be slowly jogging behind it and will sprint and jump back on Boxing Day!!
    Congrats on the engagement (I'm secretly hoping a proposal may occur over the next few months myself) what better motivation to lose weight?!

    Thanks Steph, yeah, seeing yourself in a wedding dress put a big kick in the bum for me!

    So Christmas day was a write off food wise, however, I'm thinking of limiting my syns today as I'm at home and can control my food! Just having a roast beef dinner today so it shouldn't be that bad! I also put all of the Christmas chocolate the OH bought for me in the freezer! I have braces so I'll only be able to eat them when they have defrosted! LOL

    Hope you had a lovely Christmas Day!! It was a write off for me too!! I actually felt vile by the time I went to bed! So bloated!! I don't think I'd realised how much my stomach had shrunk and I just kept packing food in!!
    The meal itself was ok- I gave myself a smaller plate than everyone else and helped myself to lots of syn free veg and meat but then the goose fat roasties managed to slip on!! I only had a couple of glasses of wine and then 2 maybe 3 malibus! In the evening I wasn't hungry in the slightest but I'd been looking forward to the cheese so much that I found room for it!!
    Anyway, a sneaky peak at the damage this morning and surprisingly I'm only a pound up! Result!
    Today we are at OH's parents house and I think it's buffet this evening so I'll try and pick wisely! Can't really have much (if anything) to drink because I'm back in work at 7am!!
    Enjoy your roast beef! What a good idea about the chocs! Thankfully I told everyone not to buy me any chocs this year and I didn't touch a single one yesterday! Admittedly it's because all my favourite ones had gone but I saw that as a sign!!

    Me too Steph, I'm hoping to shake that feeling now!!

    So today has been pretty uneventful!!

    Had breakfast, tutoring, came home, went to gym and a little snack!

    So food today has been : Banana, tea with HEX A milk, 2 x Alpen lights (HEX B) and strawberries..


    Dinner was Roast chicken and beef, veggies (parsnip, carrots and cauliflower), 2 potatoes and some stuffing (6 syns)

    Snack was a milkyway bar for 5 syns. OH bought me a bounty bar but I thought less syns was a better choice!

    Hey well done on starting at such a difficult time. I have been on and off slimming world myself too many times.this was probably the first xmas (in a long time) where hadnt been on a diet leading up to xmas. Think it might have helped as didnt feel i had to indulge, still felt a bit guilty having my chocs i received.
