I think you're doing great so far! Are you drinking enough? my weight loss is always better when I drink a lot of water. You seem to be controlling yourself really well, but maybe try adding some more super free in there?.

I also notice you're doing quite a bit of exercise, you might find you have the same issue as me, the more I went to the gym, the higher my scale numbers, because you're body is toning and adding muscle your weight wont change as much, it certainly doesn't mean you're not losing, you're just getting fit with it, you'll probably look loads better at the end of your journey for it, so try not to focus on scales too much.

Do you mind me asking how much you've got to lose?
X

Thank you for looking, I appreciate it so much. I think I will get the measuring tape out tonight ! I do not drink that much to be honest as I think I should drink when I am thirsty not for the sake of it.. But I will try my best to drink more.

I only have half a stone to lose which makes it even harder ! I'm 9 st 12 at the moment and would like to be 9 st 5. That half stone makes a real difference.

I have just purchased loads of veg from aldi (trying to keep costs down!) so will up the super free if I can. I do green days and I know that third super free is recommended but not required but I still try my best to!

God why can't we just be born super slim : /

How long have you been doing slimming world? You look great in your photo! Xx

Thursday 2nd January

B: chopped apple (super free)with cherry yogurt and heb Weetabix mini

L: chopped veg and tomatoes (super free) with chopped quorn bacon

D: planning on omelette made with loads of veg (Superfree) served with either salad and sw chips or beans.

Snacks: heb crunchy bran
Syns : alpen light.

Exercise: hopefully TRX at the gym if I make it in time!

I used to be the same, but it meant I'd only drink 2 glasses of water in the whole day, which isn't great for weight loss. I try not to fill a 2ltr bottle of water with a bit of squash (as I'm a child and water is icky!) and keep it on my desk, that way I'm tempted to guzzle at it during the day!

Oh I'm quite jealous, wish I only had half a stone to lose! It might be quite slow for you then, as the more you have to shift the quicker it goes, but you seem to be doing really well! The red and green confuses me a bit, I'm an EE girl, though upping veggies and fruit is always a good idea!

I've been doing it since mid-november, almost lost a stone, but was majorly off plan over Christmas! Aw thanks, it's an old pic (about a year or two), I was probably about 10st in it, hoping to get a bit lower than that!

I know it sounds weird but I don't like the feeling of water swishing around in my tummy! I know I should drink more though. Going to try my best !!!
Half a stone to lose is so hard and it's easy to get demotivated. But I will keep going, iv been enjoying all the good food anyway ! X

Ha it does sound a bit weird, but we all have our peeves. The only thing I'd say is with only half a stone to go, you'll find drinking loads will make you want to pee...a lot, and it really does help with losing stubborn weight.

That's the good thing with Slimming world, the food's actually tasty!

Just popping over from your other thread to have a look!

It looks like you're doing really well, though I think I would be a bit hungry/weak eating your diet and especially as you exercise a fair bit! Your lunches do seem quite small and you are not having many syns (though there's nothing wrong with having extra fibre as syns, very good for you!). Only mentioning it because you said at one point you were tired, though this could be the time of year of course. I was very tired in my first few weeks of SW though that might be because I was doing Vegetarian Extra Easy. Eating too little can slow your losses down long-term and make it easier to regain weight. So don't be scared to have more free/superfree if you ARE hungry, and bear that in mind if you don't see losses you want. Good luck!

Ooh Gwella, can you give me some advice on doing EE as a veggie? I have been doing Green and didn't even know I could do EE - what sort of things were you having?

It was actually a bit of a mistake - when I joined the group they just said to do EE and I didn't realise that Green is basically vegetarian EE but with two hexes each day instead of one, and less importance placed on the 1/3 superfree. I switched to Green when I found out about it on this forum because I asked people about the tiredness I was experiencing. I don't know if it was coincidence, but I found that the tiredness went away when I switched to Green and had the extra hexes - it allowed me to have the occasional oil, seeds, extra bread/cheese to compensate for any missing nutrients I think.

That said, I don't stress about having extra hexes if I'm simply not hungry on a vegetarian day, and I still try to have at least 1/3 superfree with every meal even on Green days. I have heard some people say that the increased carbs on Green days has slowed down their losses, and as I have PCOS I try to avoid eating too many carbs and the 1/3 rule helps with that.
