Determined to do this
Hi everyone I've decided to post my food diary here every day to try and keep me on track. I am currently 7lbs down, having put 3lbs on over Christmas and New Year and am determined to reach my target in 2014, with around 3st to lose. I will be getting back on track tomorrow having given myself today off. Please feel free to read, comment, advise or purely ignore
 
So I've had my first day back on track today and I have to say I feel better for it. I've done an extra easy day.

Breakfast - banana and activia 0%

Dinner - homemade soup and homemade quiche (both syn free)

Tea - Asda fresh tastes tomato and basil chicken, mashed potato, carrot and swede, mixed vegetables.

HexA - 250ml semi skimmed milk
HexB - hifi light bar

Snacks - corn on the cob
Strawberries and yogurt

Day 2 - extra easy

Breakfast - 2 satsumas & banana
Dinner - chicken salad bowl from subway with sweet onion sauce
Tea - slow cooked minced beef stew with veg

Snacks - mixed berries with activia 0% yogurt
HexA - 250 ml semi skimmed milk
HexB - hifi bar

Syns - bottle magners cider (12)
Sweet onion sauce (2)
 
Day 3 wasn't brilliant. I did an extra easy day and was good during the day but went for a curry last night and was very picky in the evening :( never mind, it's a new day today! I'll be glad when I get back to work tomorrow so I can get back into a routine.

Breakfast - banana, satsuma
Dinner - mixed berries and yogurt
Tea - chicken jalfrezi with boiled rice, 2 poppadoms, chapati

HexA - 250ml milk
HexB - alpen light

I know my jalfrezi was 8.5 syns but I haven't counted all the cr@p I picked at so I haven't included my syns today, I'm just going to draw a line under it

Day 4 - red day

Breakfast - satsuma, banana
Dinner - 2 syn free sausages, homemade bacon quiche
Tea - syn free bacon double turkey burgers with cheese, carrot & swede, cauli, sprouts and free beans

HexA - 250ml semi skimmed milk
- 45g mozzarella
HexB - 60g whole meal roll
- hifi bar

Syns - walkers squares 5
- tomato sauce 1

Snacks - muller light
 
Day 5 - extra easy

Breakfast - 2 satsumas, plum
Dinner - ex lean mince stew
Tea - Asia fresh tastes chicken with tomato and basil, mash and veg

HexA - 250 ml semi skimmed milk
HexB - hifi bar

Syns - discos (7.5)

I get weighed tomorrow but my first WI of the year, feeling quite positive as I have had a relatively good week, although I have had a few dodgy moments! Whatever the scales say, I feel as though I am back on track and raring to fight this battle
