So here I go again Back on track and ready for a good week. :cross:
 
Day1
Friday 3 January:
Hex A: 250ml semi skimmed milk
5 laughing cow light triangles

Hex B: 60g whole meal bread

B: toast, 2tsp jam (2syn), coffee, fat free yogurt, 2 satsumas, handful of grapes.

L: bachelors mac cheese pasta and sauce (3 syns), pear & fresh pineapple

D: mccain frozen jacket potato x2 (2 syns), beans, cheese, cherry tomatoes

Snacks: diet pepsi, special k s&v crisps (4.5 syns)

Total syns: 11.5 :-D

Good start yesterday, very pleased that I stayed on track.

Day 2
Saturday 4th January
Hex A: 250ml semi skimmed milk

Hex B: 60g wholemeal bread

B: scrambled egg, 3 plums, 1 satsuma, 1 pear, coffee

L: spicy butternut soup (butternut, sweet potato, carrot, onion, spices, stock), turkey and cranberry sandwich with cucumber (1 syn for 1 tblsp)

D: chicken korma & rice (0.5 syns), fruit salad (strawberries, blueberries, grapes, plums, pineapple, pear)

Snacks: special k s&v crisps (4.5syns)

Total syns: 6

Day 3

Sunday 5th January

Hex A: 250ml SS milk

Hex B: 35g porridge

B: porridge with golden syrup (2syns) banana & blueberries, coffee

L: jacket potato with feta (5 syns)salad (tomato, red onion, cucumber, coriander, balsamic vinegar)

D: gammon steak with mashed potatoes carrot swede & mushy peas

Snacks: roast chicken, persimmon fruit, special k crisps (4.5 syns)

Total syns: 11.5


Tough evening, major munchies. Day 3 not as tough as normal

Monday 6th January

B: fruit salad (banana, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, persimmon) & 0% Greek yogurt. Coffee

L: McDonald's grilled chicken salad & balsamic dressing(1.5syns) 4 chicken nuggets(6syns)

D: sweet potato, & butternut soup, 2x toast. 1 cheese triangle (1syn)

Snacks: cappuccino (4syns) sugar (1syn)

Total syns: 13.5

Totally unplanned trip to McDonald's but pleased I managed not to blow it on stuff I wouldn't have enjoyed much anyway. Not worth the syns really

Tuesday. 7th January

Hex B: 2 alpen light

B: banana, coffee

L: sweet potato & butternut squash soup, persimmon fruit, pear

D: mince (extra lean beef, onion, carrot, turnip, bisto 6syn), mash potato, mushy peas

Snacks: diet coke, s&v special k(4.5)

Total syns: 10.5

Wednesday 8th January

B: toast & spread (2syns), banana, coffee

L: leek carrot & potato soup, banana, 2 satsumas

D: chicken curry and rice, satsuma

Snacks: hot chocolate (2syns), cereal bar (3syns), carrot leek and potato soup, porridge (6 syns) 7 ritz cheese crackers (5 syns)

Total syns: 16

Over syns but REALY hungry tonight with no fruit in the house. Figured prridge was better than crisps

Thursday 9th January

Day 8: W.I. -8.5lbs

Friday 10th January (CJ' birthday)
Saturday 11Th January

No food diary for either day. Didn't eat very much from running around in headless chicken mode. Friday was on plan all day b ut no set meals/ Saturday was on plan most of day but again, no set meals. Out on Saturday evening and had 3 drinks then had 2 cheese toasties when I came home. Approximately 30 syns over for the day. I'n not going to stress about that. Back on plan for Sunday.


Day 10

Sunday 12th January

Hex A: 45g feta cheese

Hex B: 60g bread

B: 2 x toast with banana, hot chocolate (2 syns)

L: sweet potato and butternut squash soup, 2 satsumas,1 pear

D: chicken burger (homemade) feta salad (feta, coriander, red onion, tomato, cucumber, red pepper, balsamic vinegar)

Snacks: pear, hot chocolate( 8syns)

Total syns: 10

Snacks: porridge, syrup (2 syns), blueberries banana, pineapple special k crisps (4 syns) hifi light (3 syns) bran flakes & milk

How is it going hun?x

Rubbish this week to be honest. I didn't do a menu plan so winging it from day to day which is never good. Also really hungry ALL the time. Weekend was sons birthday & party. Monday started out brilliant as a green day but forgot I was going to a friend for dinner and she served meat which blew the day out of the water.
Today has been on track so far. I'm strange, I find it much easier at home than when I'm at work or out and about. I weigh on Friday so will just have to take results on the chin and be better organised this week.

I'm a bit like you, I never plan in advance. Although I often think the night before what I can have tomorrow so I guess that is planning in a round about way but it is never set in stone.

I've been doing really well thanks. Not really been hungry except for yesterday morning when I really wanted to snack. Instead I had my lunch early so it wasn't too bad.

Good luck for your weigh in on Friday, hopefully it wont be too bad and you never know you might get a nice surprise :) x
 
I'm remaining optimistic but if I gain I will know why. I find if I write a menu plan I usually have a good loss but if I don't it goes haywire. It has just been one of those weeks
