I was doing SW last year to lose weight for my wedding, but since then I've gone off the rails and have put on everything I lost, so back to the same weight I was this time last year!!!
Hoping you can follow my diary and help me along the way as I'm going it alone this time.
Good luck on your journey!
I've just started back again - I managed to lose 2stones in 2010 with SW but then got pregnant and put it all back on again! Great time for a new year new start attitude!
I'm going alone too, and will be following EE as well as a few red and green days. Which plan do you tend to prefer?
I first did SW years ago before they introduced EE and I did really well, so it seems wrong to me to have carbs and meat together. I tried it for a bit but couldn't get my head around it
Everyone's different though, I love my carbs so green days are great for me.
I love green days too - I love having extra cheese and also it's easy to make cheap meals too on green days so I'm throwing a couple in this week as we're totally skint after Christmas!
I used to find that red days were great for good losses so I'll probably do some red days if my losses slow down.
Looks good to me - love your use of cashews as a HEXB, for some reason I never think of using nuts, seeds or dried or cooked fruit for my HEXB. It's great you've got that variety!
I'd be starving if I only had 3 meals then 1 snack, I'm a grazer and go through loads of fruit in the day as well as huge portions of my meals too! Guess if I don't lose much this is something I'll have to look at...
What is the pasta and sauce like you're having today? I haven't tried that one before x
There batchelors pasta n sauce, there's lots of different varieties. Most are between 0 and 2 syns, they are very filling and great for lunch.
Add water/milk and microwave for 10 mins. I have a food flask so cook it in a morning and bring it work for a warm pasta lunch.
My fruit/snacks are what I graze on during the day.
Got Asda shop delivered tonight, not sure what to do for lunch. Might just be omelette....
Yummy I love omelettes, I wish I had the facilities to make omelettes for lunch at work, they're so yummy and versatile. I don't make them often on weekends as hubby doesn't like them, and I resent making 2 separate meals!
I love cheese too, I have been known in the past to use 3 or even 4 of my HEXs on cheese on a green day. This is when I've been making something super cheesy for dinner like macaroni cheese or lasagne or something! Lol
It's all within the plan though so go for it!
Thanks! I'll have to pick some up and try them. I used to like quorn sausages but went off them after a while, plus I don't think they're free anymore either.
