So, I've been back on slimming world for 2 weeks and am a little disappointed that I've only lost 4 pounds when I've been soooooo good. As there are so many good food diaries on here I thought I'd give it a go and see if it can do anything for my losses...
I haven't really been using my healthy extras, or my syns, so I'm going to start writing everything on here with the hope that you lovely people might be able to help me!
I lost 4 stone a couple of years ago following the break up of a relationship through eating clean and a lot of exercise! I then met the new boy and have gradually put a stone of it back on over the last year.
This has to stop! I've worked too hard to get back to where I was, and as happy as I am now in my relationship (how long can the honeymoon phase last, by the way?!) I'm not happy in myself and I don't want it to ever have an affect on me again like it did before.
Anyway, ramble over! I'm hoping to lose a stone initially for a little holiday, and then hopefully another after that...but let's not get carried away so I'll call it a stone for now!
So, day one of week 3 and here's how it looks so far...
Breakfast - weetabix with semi skimmed milk - get those HEX in early! Banana a couple of hours later.
Lunch - homemade carrot and cumin soup
Melon, apple and strawberry fruit salad with ff nat yog.
No syns as yet, will save those for later!
So, since earlier I've snacked on a boiled egg and also cucumber sticks with home made crudités.
I then went to spin for an hour to help speed things up!
Dinner tonight is baked eggs with ham and spinach, with Cajun wedges:
Roasted red peppers
Going to use the rest of my syns on a meringue nest and 50g low fat ice cream = 6 syns.

Today is Thursday and Thursdays make me happy because it's almost the weekend :)
Thought I'd try to mix around with my HEX today as I don't want to get stuck in a rut, and found out I can combine half portions of the choices to make a whole one if I want - result!
Breakfast was a small tin of no drain tuna. Fairly standard for me, I'm still in the old habits of a protein filled brekky! This was shortly followed by a banana.
Mid morning snack was 2 ryvitas (hex b) topped with 2 dairylea triangles (part hex a).
Lunch was carrot and cumin soup again:
Lovely and free!
I also had a fruit salad of melon, apple, blueberries and fat free natural yogurt.
This afternoon I've eaten 2 hard boiled eggs.
Wow I've eaten a lot!
Dinner tonight will be turkey risotto with spinach, asparagus and tenderstem broccoli (syn free)
Which will leave me with my syns to use on going to the cinema for my date night :) 4 syns for an individual bag of popcorn and 3.5 syns for a mini bag of magic stars. Yummy! It's all I can do to steer away from the delicious ice cream and hot fudge sauce...
I'll use the rest of my hex a choice on 85ml of semi skimmed milk in a couple of brews when I get home :)
Another day of both hex used and 7.5 syns for good measure! Hurrah!

To try and cheer him up I've resorted to curry! I've been good though and made it instead of getting a takeaway (although you can't understand my need for a Keema naan right now!)

Just browsing diaries and saw you were born same year so thought id read as hoping to start sw once done big shop, it has made me fancy passanda and keema naan too lol. well done on losses so far,i lost loads due to a break up and now put it back on from being content in another, ive suggested he break up with me so could loose weight but he didnt buy it, anyways hope you dont think im intruding x
