Hello!

This is my fourth time that I have come back to Slimming World - and this time it's personal! On the three previous occasions I have dieted on this plan my goal has been to lose weight for an upcoming summer holiday, generally starting the diet around 10-12 weeks before going. However this year there is no summer holiday and instead I have my graduation in July. I'm currently studying Law, with my ultimate goal being to become a Family Law solicitor. My main goal for joining the plan this time is to make sure that when I'm receiving my degree in July I can stand there in my cap and gown and feel a million dollars, so my determination is fierce!

My most recent stint on slimming world was between May and August 2013, where I lost 1.5 stones before I went on holiday. Alongside the plan I also did the 30 day shred which, although an absolute killer, was one of the best things I have ever decided to do, with definitely visible results! However the usual holiday binge took place and then shortly after I returned I was moving back to university and so my focus on good healthy food disappeared. I was so disappointed with myself that I let it slide downhill so easily, as Slimming World, by then, had become part of my everyday life and something I had adapted to so well.

This time I don't want to have that slide again, and I am determined to keep it up for a long as I am able to, and look to maintain when I have reached a weight that I am happy with, rather than finding myself at that weight and then not bothering anymore. As well as doing the eating plan I am also going to be heading back to the gym and looking for other ways to work out when I am at home. I have bought myself a wonderful new diary so that I can record all of my food intake throughout the day - this was such a great tool last year and helped me so much, that I couldn't not do it again this time around!

And so today is the day that my journey begins :) I have a strong and positive mental attitude and I am ready to banish this weight once and for all!

It would be lovely to have as many of you on board as possible, so we can look to motivate each other as we go along :)

Total Syns: 14 syns

Had a really positive first day back on plan so I'm going to be feeling happy! One thing I do need to buy are things to curb my hunger throughout the day, such as fat free yoghurts, more fruit etc, after today's cake bar blip!

Ready to face another day tomorrow :)
