    Help... Food Diary

    Hi everyone,

    I'm really after some advice. I really struggle to eat any SuperFree foods - I just don't like them. The textures, taste - I try but I think years of being Molly coddled by my mum who let me get away with what ever I wanted has had a negative impact on me.

    tonight, I made some tomato soup (2 tins tomato, 1 tin baked beans, 1 tin carrots, 2 medium pickled onions) to have before my main meal so at least I'm getting some SF.

    What I am hoping is for someone to look at my food diary and offer suggestions...

    Today

    breakfast - Apple and Allen light bar (1/2 hex b)
    lunch - cupshot from Aldi (chicken flavour) (syn free)
    dinner - tomato soup, SW chips, turkey rasher, 2 pickled eggs (syn free)

    snack - Alpen light (1/2 hex b)

    Hi


    I too struggle with SF but do things like add salad leaves to a meal or hide them in a meal such as spag bol. I dice things really fine so i cant tell its there.

    I always feel like I am not having the 1/3 though, even when I do that. It's not affecting the scales too much (just got slimmer of the week), but I feel I am missing something important.

    Anyways, I am off out for dinner tonight with my friends - and then to relax in a sauna/jacuzzi and the food offerings are slim pickings... so I am opting for a chicken burger (without the bun - and I've checked its flame grilled as it is, so no syns) and then chips... No idea on the syn value for those

    Today I have eaten

    Breakfast - Alpen Light bar (1/2 HeB) and an apple (free)
    Lunch - Alpen Light Bar (1/2 HeB) and an apple, and my homemade tomato soup (baked beans, tomato and pickled onions).

    I also managed to consume three pickled eggs purely by holding the jar whilst talking to my husband, and then purchased an 18g box of tic tacs which have pretty much gone. 3.5 syns there...

    Ah well. Tomorrow is a new day.

    Ended up having for dinner chicken and chips as I guessed.. so not too bad (bar the chips). I then came home and hubster had brought frozen natural yoghurt with cherry - 5 syns for 71g (works out roughly at 2 scoops), so I finished that.

    Today

    Breakfast - Apple, Alpen Light Bar (1/2 HeB)
    Lunch - Apple and Low Fat Supernoodles
    Dinner - Diet Coke Chicken, noodles and stir fry (water chesnuts, bean sprouts, onion, peppers and bamboo shoots) and an alpen light bar

    I did however, walk for 2.2 miles at a 14 minute mile (I nearly killed myself), so I am feeling a little better about the syn fest yesterday (tho not much).

    Lunch - Homemade tomato soup, apple and Alpen Light Bar
    Dinner - Baked Bean Lasagne (loaded with peppers and onions), following by SW Strawberry Mousse (0.5syns)

    Snack - 2 x Kinder Bons (looking at the calories it comes to 60 so 3 syns)

    Odd day today. Forgot my breakfast; then was super busy; then went on a cooking frenzy... Hmmm

    breakfast - found some rocky road hi fi in my desk drawer
    lunch - six seafood sticks
    dinner - 2 SW cheesy scones, 1 slice SW curry loaf, 2 sainsburys extra lean Cumberland sausage (1/2 syn each)

    then ate ate another sausage and 3 seafood sticks, then ate 71g of sainsburys frozen yoghurt with cherry (5 syn)

    6.5 syns today....

    meeting a friend in London tomorrow so off to nandos for a butterfly chicken breast and spicy rice for 6.5 syns. It's also weigh in morning.

    Breakfast - 2 x sainsburys extra lean Cumberland sausage (1/2 syn each)
    lunch - nandos butterfly chicken breast (3 syns) spicy rice (2.5 syns) and side salad (free)
    dinner - SW KFC chicken and SW chips (free) , lighter than light mayo (1/2 syn) had my hexb as a 60g whole meal roll
    snack - activia 0% yoghurt

    walked around london today and after mapping it I walked 6 miles!!!!

    Total syns - 8 syns

    may have a rocky road later for 3 syns or make the SW fluffy chocolate mousse for 1/2 syn per serving

    Sausage and potato salad for lunch (1 syn for the sausages)
    smash pizza with chorizo (45g 3 syns)

    did 5.1m walk today too.

    Hexa - 30g cheese, hexb - 2 Alpen light

    also went and brought loads of low syn goodies so I may take something later ��
