Beach embaracememt NEVER AGAIN

So a last minute holiday booking has demolished any illusions of my weight issues, I need to loose 3 stone minimum possibly 3 and a half.
I really have sat by the pool and on the beach very much red faced in total embarrassment and as much as I have forced myself to join in with family fun I have not enjoyed it !
My children are aged 10 and 7 and it's not going to be long till they say they don't want to come on holiday any more so I have to make the most of it now !!
I'm joining my local slimming world group on Tuesday and look forward to getting started

Thank you, I joined a slimming world group years ago and had great results, unfortunately I regained it all when pregnant and although I've done several diets since inc slimming world I have been in denial and only following a diet half hearted, loosing and gaining the same half a stone over and over :(
 
Excited about starting a fresh in the morning, not so excited about stepping on those scales for the first time though, my target for the first week is just to stick to plan, brake it down meal to meal, which will add up day to day, then before I know it I will of completed the week! I know I only need a couple of good days to get the ball rolling then each day will be easier to stay on track because a good couple of days will help my motivation!
 
You sound so motivated, when is the holiday?
 
Just got back off holiday, so the little bubble of denial of how over weight I am well and truly exploded while I was sat by the pool in a bikini lol. However I have a wedding to go to middle of August which I have bought a dress for which i need to drop a good 1& 1/2 stone possibly 2st ! And we go on holiday again middle of September Then I will feel much more comfortable in my bikini

So first weigh in today start weight 13st 3 & 1/2lb
My goal is to loose 2lb a week

Day 1 food diary
Breakfast Banana
Lunch tortilla wrap (5). Mayo (1/2) salad leaves tomato cucumber ham
Tea bistro style salad leaves grated carrot beet root cherry toms cucumber celery spring onion
Jacket potato Chicken breast 2 tbs salad cream (5)
Snacks apple pineapple grapes pear
Yoghurt
Skimmed milk for tea HEA
2 bottles water
 
Yes happy holidays I did have super free with tea last night :)
Think I may put in some red and green days though as I like my 2 lots of healthy extra a's and 2 lots of healthy extra b's
 
Today's menu
BREAKFAST: mixed red berries ( blackberry, red currants, strawberries, raspberries, etc) natural fat free yoghurt, topped with musli ( think syns would be 5 need to double check)
Green tea

LUNCH : 2 slices whole meal bread HEB
2 tsp mayo (1) lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beet root & ham
Apple
Banana
2 bottles water

TEA: veggi spag bog topped with low fat cheese HEA
0% yoghurt
Green tea

Snack 2 cookies (7)

Couldn't face breakfast today to around 11 am I had half a honey melon.
Lunch was on the go in the car so I had carrot and celery sticks, a hard boiled egg, 2 plumbs, grapes and a bottle of water
Tea new potatoes, sweet corn, carrots, broccoli and salmon
HEA 350ml skimmed milk
 
Well my first weigh in was a big success, lost 6lb.
So I'm now 12st 11 lb I would really like to loose 2lb this week bringing my pounds into single digits.
Not the best week though (* wk) so if I stY the same that would be good
 
Wow 6 lbs is a fantastic loss in one week! Well done :0)
