New Me Diary...

Hi guys,

I started slimming world (EE) 9 weeks ago and so far I have lost 11.5lb but recently I seem to be struggling and my weight has been maintaining.

I go on holiday in just over 6 weeks time and would like to lose 16.5lb before then. (or at least 12lb) - my overall goal is to get to 9st 7lb (current weight 12st 10.5lb)

Therefore I have decided to:
1) Keep a daily food diary on here (hopefully if i am doing it wrong or someone has any suggestions they will let me know)
2) Have a look through other peoples food diaries for meal ideas as i keep having the same things.

Todays diary:

Breakfast:
Strawberry muller light.

Lunch:
Mushy pea curry. (Mushy peas, Tinned tomatoes, Baked beans, curry powder, crushed chillies, mushrooms, onions and pepers)

Tea: (Planned)
Sweet chilli noodles (Weatherspoons)

Dessert: (Planned)
Fruit Salad

So far drank (1.5ltr water)
 
Well I kind of stuck to plan last night but instead offruit salad I had pineapple and as a treat in the cinema I had one scoop of benand jerry’s ice cream – Yummy

So for today….

Breakfast:
- Glass of lemon water
- Grapes and strawberries

Dinner: (Planned)
- Bachelor’s cup a pasta (Tomato and Herb)

Tea: (Planned)
Homemade nandos
- Chicken breast marinated in nandos medium piri pirimarinate – fried / grilled (no oil)
- Spicy rice stuffed pepper (rice fried (frylight) withdiced peppers and onions, paprika, crushed chillies and chilli powder
- Garden peas mixed with chillies and teaspoon of mint.

Dessert: (Planned)
- Strawberries.

I don’t know if I have included enough speed foods? Maybethis is where I am going wrong? :confused:

I did have photos but I don’t know how to upload them tothe thread. :sigh:
 
Well I changed my dessert for Friday, I didn't have strawberries i had a packet of snack a jacks curls and i got a tad hungry later on and didn't want to eat crap so i had half a tin of baked beans.

I did plan on being good on Saturday but that soon went out the window.

Saturday:

- No Breakfast

Lunch:
- Tuna pasta with spring onion, cucumber and pepper.
- Muller light

Tea:
I did plan on having baked potato and baked beans but i wasn't too hungry and ended up meeting friends for a few drinks which turned out to be alot of drinks and ended in me having chips and chilli burger at 4:30am

Today:

Breakfast:
Scrambled egg

Dinner:
Roast spuds, carrot and turnip and Yorkshire puddings.

So i have been totally off plan and feeling depressed about it so i am now going into the sw website to get meal ideas and going to plan my weeks meals.

Doubtful i will get a loss this week (get weighed on Wed) but i am going to try and eat lots of superspeed foods plus i am going to be training for my 5k race for life this week.
 
Back on plan today....

Breakfast:
Pint of lemon water and Cappuccino muller light.

Lunch:
Pineapple

Tea:
Baked Potato with baked beans, mushrooms, peppers and onions.

Excerise:
Practice for 5K race for life.
 
thought I would subscribe as I've just made a food diary on here too :)

Don't worry about the blip with the drinks! It happens to all of us :) I hope that you had a good time :)
Remember to drink more and eat more super free if you're suddenly increasing your exercise x

So yesterday:

No Breakfast

Lunch:
Prawn pasta salad (Prawns, pasta, lettuce, peppers, spring onion and cucumber)

Tea:
Birds eye inspirations fish with cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms and onions.

Supper:
2 slices of toast

Today:

No breakfast

Lunch:
Prawn pasta salad (prawns, pasta, lettuce, carrot, sweetcorn and cucumber)

Tea:
Green pepper in black bean sauce with boiled rice from the chippy.

I have noticed i havent been drinking alot of water lately which i need to increase again aswell as having breakfast.

Not looking forward to weigh in tonight - back on track tomorrow - only 38 days until my holiday
 
Hi Cath,

I've just started my slimming world journey today so I'm trying to find and give some support to others just starting out (and also to snag some great recipes rather than just adapting my usual boring meals! - Is your lemon water literally just that?)

I'm new to this website though and can't find how to subscribe! Help!

Yep, lemon water is exactly that - lemons sliced in a jug of water and put inthe fridge i always have a glass or pint before leaving for work of a morningas it is supposed to speed up your metabolism.

Well as i thought i didn’t do too good at weigh in after my week of crap -1.5lb on so starting a fresh today.

Breakfast:
Lemon water
Strawberries and Muller light.

Lunch:
Salad (Lettuce, cucumber, spring onion, ham and egg)

Tea:
Smoked cod, Mushy peas, Cauliflower and broccoli

Snacks:
Grapes, Strawberries and pineapple.

 
Sorry i have been missing awhile.... i lost 2lb this week.... just 2lb away from my stone award.

I have decided to do the speed challange starting today - (eat atleast 8 speed foods and 2 superfood foods a day)

Breakfast:
Strawberries and grapes

Dinner:
Strawberries, grapes and pineapple.

Tea:
Smoked cod fish cakes (Smoked cod, potato, onion, herbs, chilli)
Mushy peas
Cauliflower
Broccoli

Snacks:
Raspberries mixed with muller light
Pom bears (3.5syns)
