SW Online Member (newbie!) My Diary :)

Soooo, I finally decided to sign up online and properly began my journey on SW

I've been following it vaguely for the past month but not fully, the recipes I've tried so far are really tasty!

So, to start with, so far today...EE

B/FAST : 2 x Hovis Wholegerm toast (unbuttered), 2 x poached (lge) eggs, sml tin Lidl spaghetti loops

I wanted to double check, are Spaghetti Hoops free on EE? If so, are the Lidl (Newgate) ones?

Ok, so the rest of today's food diary...

LUNCH: Muller Light Smooth Toffee, 100g Strawberries (chopped), 20g Blueberries

DINNER: SW Chilli Baked Potatoes (1 lge baked potato with skin, spring onion, 5% steak mince, tinned chopped tomatoes, red wine vinegar, ground cumin, chopped garlic, dried rosemary, paprika, lettuce, cucumber & tomato)

SYNS: 200ml red wine (7 syns)

Not yet had dinner, but all prepped and worked out!

I'll subscribe!! I like keeping track of people's progress and I need to get back on track myself this week so we'll give eachother some encouragement throughout the week!! X
 
Thanks Steph :) So so gutted though, usually use Hovis Wheatgerm bread as my HEb, but found out on here tonight that Wheatgerm is synned, as opposed to Wholemeal, fumin ha ha!! X

Aw that's annoying!!! You'll be surprised though how easy it is to adapt to wholemeal when you get used to it. The hovis wheatgerm is 2.5 syns a slice from the small loaf which isn't too bad. Would probably rather spend my syns on something else though.
I'm going to try and reduce my bread this week I think. Famous last words!

So, today, so far...

BFAST:
1/2 Banana
Half tin Spaghetti Loops, 2 Poached Eggs & 1 piece Wheatgerm bread (2.5syns)
Black pepper
Tea w/SS milk (HEa)

LUNCH:
Vanilla Muller Light w/100g chopped Strawberries
3 pieces Lean (Lidl) Dulano Ham
4 Pineapple Chunks
Cucumber Slices
Coffee w/SS milk (HEa)

DINNER:
SW Bolognese Pasta Bake w/Salad - >5% Fat Steak Mince, Beef Stock, Penne Pasta, Mini Mozzarella Balls, Dried Oregano, Mushrooms, Tinned Tomatoes, Onion, Garlic, Salt & Pepper, Carrot, Lettuce, Cucumber, Tomato (9 syns, I think, for the Mozzarella balls?)

SNACK:
Lge Tea w/SS milk (HEa)
9 x Glasses Water

The Mozzarella balls were not low-fat I don't believe, but I can only find Syn value as 1.5 per ball - can anybody confirm or correct me on this?

Also, does my diary look ok so far? I feel like these SW recipes I'm cooking are too much?! X

Diary looks fab! It all sounds yum!! Can only find the mozerella balls at 1.5syns too so I'd say you're safe to go with that.
Can't see that you've had your HEXB - try slot this in somewhere for your fibre intake. Other than that- it's amazing! X

Thanks Steph! I know, my HEb, I was gutted as I thought Wheatgerm bread was the same as Wholemeal :-O!! Back to Wholemeal now though! Do you think the rest looks about okay for following the EE plan? :) x
