Glittermonkey's food diary (with pics) x
Hello folks! My name is wendy aka glittermonkey here on minimins! I have a lot of weight to lose and was stuck in a rut until i found SW. I have been on every diet possible and racked up a lot of stones, which I am now ready to lose! please drop in for chats and comments i will be posting pics of all my meals here, recipies on request...i hope you enjoy it!
Today I had an omlette with mushrooms, tomatoes and chirizo (syns) for breakfast, with a cup of coffee and some green grapes
For lunch I had yuk sung which was delicious and syn free! with 2 mandarins.
for dinner i'm having 2 syn butter chicken, with a pitta bread instead of naan for my HEB

I found out lol i'm a bit thick sometimes.
My mam and dad are having a dinner for all the family today (about 27ppl going) I am really hoping I can stay within my syns. there is ham and roast beef which I can have but i might just fill up on free food before I go. i'm not drinking so fingers crossed i can say no to dessert ant be happy about it!
had a great day today. just coffee and a mllerlight as I was running out the door for breakfast.
Lunch: baked potato with ham and roast beef and peas
Dinner: chicken parmageanno (however you spell it) it was delicious! love aubergenes now! I also had 6syns todays. might have some hot chocolate almond milk before bed as i have lots of syns left over! so stuffed from dinner though. i really need to improve me spelling!!

a great day food wise today!
scrambled eggs for breakfast with a peach afterwards,
lunch was a mcdonalds salad, i didnt have the croutons or the dressing- i knew i was going before hand so i mixed up an old vanilla essence bottle of chili flakes, soy, ginger and lemon juice and used that for dressing my salad i must have looked a bit mad taking a bottle from my bag and throwing it on my salad haha.
Dinner was sea bass, sw chips, samphire and a garlic and mushroom sauce made from quark.
I also had a glass of alpro almond chocolate milk. and a pack of onion rings, with a mullerlight. havent made up my sins yet but I think i'm at around 7 for the day.
Looks good that. I had a little cheat dinner after my weigh in so back on it tomorrow. Hope I haven't done too much damage!
ah no, we all need something now and again, i think its better to let yourself had little treats then to be too strict only to blow it and never get back on it! hope you enjoyed it!

Hi Anju! thanks a lot! it was really easy..theres packs of spice mix called asianfoodgourmet (all one word). i got the butter chicken variety. 1/4 of the pack of spice mix has 1 syn but i had double to make it two.

Seperatly in a bowl marinate some chicken chunks in fat free yogurt, celery, cucumber and the following spices:
I left it for about an hour, then remove from bowl and cook, once cooked add to the sauce- i also added some chilli powder and fresh coriander to mine but thats personal preference...enjoy!!!
