Jade's Starting Over Again...

Since the birth of my daughter and rejoining Slimming World in April, I've been struggling to stick to plan and loose weight. I lost 17lbs in 6 weeks at the start but now I've lost my mojo and started to regain the weight. I'm struggling with not having the routine of being at work and having set meal times and instead I'm finding myself picking all day.

I lost 2st with Slimming World pre-pregnancy so I know it works for me and I know I can do it! I loved the feeling of being slim last year and how I could finally fit into the clothes I've always wanted to. I want that again so much so why can't I stop self sabotaging?

I have started a new group and have decided to start keeping a diary on here again so I can keep track of my food. I will be trying to write in my diary (during nap times) every day and hopefully reporting my losses at weigh in on a Thursday morning.

Looking forward to catching up with some old friends it's and always lovely to meet new people so come and say hello

06/08/2014 - Extra Easy Day

First entry of my new diary, here goes...

Breakfast - raspberries, blueberries and strawberries, 1 Mullerlight Strawberry Fruitopolis (0.5), cup of tea with sweetener and splash of skimmed milk (0.5)

Lunch - Homemade spicy butternt squash soup (butternut squash, carrot, onion, coconut, lemongrass, red chilli, vegetable stock) served with 4 Ryvita Original (hexb)

Dinner - Chicken and halloumi stir fry (diced chicken, 35g halloumi (hexa), various stir fry vegetables, various seasoning, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Amoy Straight to Wok noodles (3 syns for 150g))

Snacks
- 21g Kinder chocolate bar

Total Daily Syns - 10/10
Total Weekly Syns - 10/70

Change of plan for dinner tonight as I had forgotten I had got some chicken out of the freezer. The halloumi needing using so I grilled that and mixed it through.

07/08/2014 - Extra Easy Day

I went to group this morning and got the kick up the bum I needed... a 3lb gain :( I'm a bit mad at myself that I've let myself fall off the wagon for the last few weeks but I knew that going to group this morning would give me the motivation I needed to start again!

Breakfast - 2 crushed Alpen Light Chocolate & Toffee cereal bars (hexb) topped with Mullerlight Strawberry Fruitopolis yogurt (0.5), raspberries and blueberries

Lunch - Salad box (plum tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper, celery) with 150g Asda Cottage Cheese with Sweet Chilli and Grilled Pepper

Dinner - Treated to dinner out tonight - three course meal

Snacks - 2 Kallo Blueberry & Vanilla rice cakes (3), Milk in tea (hexa), 21g Kinder chocolate bar (6)

Total Daily Syns - 9.5/10
Total Weekly Syns - 19.5/70

Hey Jade, here to subscribe! Do you stick to 5-15syns a day or go by weekly syns? I noticed you had put 10/70 x

I usually spread my 70 syns over the week rather than 10 every day x

I bought some Kallo Blueberry & Vanilla rice cakes today and just tried two as an afternoon snack. I had them on their own and they were lovely but they would probably be even nicer topped with greek yoghurt and fruit. Highly recommended!
 
So dinner tonight didn't exactly go to plan... My OH suggested we go out for dinner which was really lovely and resulted in us having a three course meal. As it was weigh day today I'm not going to count it and simply draw a line under it and try and keep my syns low this next week.
 
Aw I would have gone out too chick! Definitely worth it for a meal with your man! :) xxxx
 
The rice cakes sound delicious will make a note to grab them.

Today has been a bit crazy! We are busy preparing our house to put on the market and Emilia hasn't been herself at all. Not sure if she could be starting teething...?

Breakfast / Brunch - 2 Weetabix (hexb) with 200ml skimmed milk (part hexa) and sweetener topped with blueberries

Dinner - Quorn meatballs and pasta (Quorn meatballs, pasta, chopped tomatoes, yellow pepper, red onion, mushrooms, spicy italian seasoning, worchestershire sauce), 1 Mullerlight Greek Mango yoghurt (0.5)

Snacks - 2 cups of tea with 150ml skimmed milk (remainder of hexa) and sweetener, 150g Asda Cottage Cheese with Sweet Chilli and Grilled Pepper, 3 Kallo Blueberry & Vanilla rice cakes (4.5)

Total Daily Syns - 5/10
Total Weekly Syns - 24.5/70
