I already log using my fitness pal as the app is handy but I don't think it's that easy to see a whole week in one go but I want to put everything in one place to help me compare good loss weeks to bad loss weeks and see if there is anything I can improve on. So I will log everyday and I am over 20 stones so have been told I can have 20 syns a day which I do in case anyone thinks that's high.

Planned food for Wednesday 13/08/2014
Breakfast
Apple and banana (I had a fruitopolis yoghurt as well but didn't get to eat it so it has moved to snacks)

Snacks
Spaces raiders 3 syns
Hifi peanut deluxe (HEB)
Fruitopolis Cherry yoghurt 0.5 syn

Lunch
Corned beef pie (3 syns)
approx 100g of beetroot and pickled onions

2 Donut nectarines

Dinner

I have a 12 syn ready meal I really want (beef stew and dumpings) which I was going to do with lots of veg. I have counted it in my syns for the day but am still feeling guilty about it which is silly as it's in my syns. There is however a good chance my my OH may eat it before i get in so if so I will have chicken and veg soup and use the syns on chocolate and an extra healthy b

Syns planned 18.5

HEA - 30g mature cheddar - didn't eat this whups

Water 8 *300 ml so far
2 x 300ml sugar free pop

i didn't eat my HEA yesterday and also looking at my food I inadvertently had a red day as the ready meal is the same syns red and ee and has no potato or carbs in so should have had an extra HEA

I have a banana and an apple again for breakfast.

Lunch is asda smart price ravioli (1.5 syns) and another apple

Snacks
Donut nectarines
hifi bar (HEB)
space raiders (3 syns)
2 baby bels (HEA)
Not sure on dinner yet as going to morrisons after work with my voucher - could quite fancy steak and sw chips and salad

Breakfast
2 babybels, apple and donut nectarines.

Lunch
mugshot, 2 babybels, a clementine and a donut nectarine

snacks
10 cal jelly (0.5 syns)
fruitopolis yog (0.5 syns)

Going to Morrisons again tonight with my meat and fish voucher thinking I might get some fresh salmon and do that with new potatoes and green beans and brocolli

Gone from no HEA's to 2. I think I will have a Green day today, count the salmon as a HEB (65 g of fresh salmon is a HEB so I will have to see what a fillet weighs - it might be both my HEB's)

I have had a Mr Kipling Bakewell tart which had 200 calories in so 10 syns. (no free food) and a viannese whirl (145 calories) 7 syns so along with my yog and jelly syns I don't have 6 syns for extra cheese. But if I have a Green day then I am fine and I haven't had a B so using the salmon for it is fine.

Breakfast today was bacon, 2 slices wholemeal bread (400g loaf) and half a tin of beans

Lunch/Tea was fish and chips as I took my mum out for her birthday and my plan was to not eat the batter and to count the chips (17.5 syns per portion) as my syns for the day. But I couldn't resist and ate half the batter so that's another 7.5 syns (13 syns for battered medium battered haddock according to the app) and I feel like a bit of a failure because I didn't stick to it.

I will have 2 babybels later for my HEA and only superfree if I eat anything else as I haven't had any today.

Family trying to persuade me out for lunch again today. Said no after batter failure yesterday and also where they are going has no healthy options. Have now basically upset everyone. Blah.

Red day

Breakfast
Bacon (no fat)
2 slices wholemeal 400g bread (HEB)
75g Philidelpia Light (HEA)

Lunch
Hot smoked salmon (1 syns)
Melon

Tea
Slow cooker roast chicken
Mixed veg (0.5 -1 syn as has peas in mix)
Red onion sausage as stuffing
some syns on gravy

Right stuck to my plan up there and also had a bowl of strawberries. I also had 7 syns worth of chocolate and 8 syns of dairy free flapjack which my sister made. It had 35g of oats in though I am counting that as my second HEB and just syning the oil and syrup - it was well worth 8 syns. 2 syns of gravy on my dinner so a total of 19 for the day.

Red day again just due to the food I have planned

Breakfast
All Bran Chocolate Wheats 30g (HEB)
100ml of skim milk (2 syns)

Snacks
Apple x2
Babybel x4 (2HEA)
Half a melon

Lunch
Chicken Breast + mixed veg 1 syn (peas)
Gravy (2 syns)

Dinner
Chicken soup (2 syns for peas in veg)
2 slices 400g wholemeal bread (HEB)

Not sure if today will be ee or red as I don't exact dinner plans yet, if I go red day friendly I can use the extra a and b to have cheese on toast. It is slimming world chips with lamb steaks (all fat removed) and veg or lamb and veg hot pot in which I'd just syn the peas. I could do a red day still and do a healthy b's worth of chips I suppose.

Breakfast
Fruitopolis yoghurt (0.5 syns)
2 Braeburn apples
Lunch
Chicken and veg soup (1 syn for peas if red day)

Snacks
Pear
donut nectarine
Babybel x2 (HEA)
Peppermint tea

Dinner - undecided!

I ended up having steak and chips and salad so an extra easy day yesterday. The lamb casserole has gone in the slow cooker for tonight.

Today the plan is

Breakfast
Banana + Apple

Lunch
Smart price chilli (1 syn)
Pear
Apple
2 Babybels (HEA)
10 cal jelly (0.5 syn)

Dinner
Lamb Casserole (2 syns for gravy)

Snacks
Hifi Light (1/2 HEB)
25g popcorn (5 syns)

30 mins walk at lunch.
3 x 300.ml.water.

My minted lamb stew/casserole. One of my favourite meals. Doesn't look that great but is yummy.

In regards to going out, try to come to an agreement with family. :) say you'll go out but only to a place where you can adapt a meal to being on plan (I normally have steak and boiled spuds instead of chips.) so that way everyone wins!

You could also sit them down and explain some basics about SW so they know how much it means to you?

Food looks nice though! I didn't realise you had a food diary before, glad you mentioned it on my thread lol :)

Oh I never updated on the family situation - they had me in tears because they were set on where they were going and I was determined not to go out again because there were no slimming world options where they were going and they didn't want to change. I didn't want them to change because I'm on plan they can do what they like but I went over after they went out which they were happy with in the end and they said they did understand.

That said I didn't say I didn't want to eat out with them as I had ate out on saturday (with them) and was already going out today with someone else (we went italians and I had tomato based pasta which was the best option but then cocktails which wasn't) and didn't want to eat out three times in a week - they don't tend to accept I have a life that does not revolve around family things. They did accept the not eating out and just going over to be social after which is positive though.

So today

2 pears plus cherry fruitopolis

lunch taglitalle arrabiate

LOts of cocktails (ALL the syns whups - will flexi syn it )

I had a great night - worth the syns and back on plan now. Going to have lots of melon and soup over the weekend and cut down to 10ish syns to hopefully help even out my week. I was out with a friend I used to work with who is also doing slimming world - though has lots less to loose and I was saying to her about not really feeling like I can see it yet and she said everyone can - which everyone says but she made me look at a picture taken at work on someone elses last day and compare it to woman of the year and I finally feel like I can see it (The before picture is just horrible though) but it really helps to be able to see it. I am going to take a proper full length picture over the weekend (copying you) and when i go out to get my melon I'm going to buy some string! Then I can actually compare rather than just looking in the mirror and thinking well I've just still got loads to lose.

before and after pic.jpg

Oh wow you can really see the difference! :D You're doing so well. :)

And I take the full pictures so I have a note and can see the difference. I still can't see it in the mirror haha.
And the string is a good idea :)

Pear and two clementines for breakfast
Going to try the speed tomato soup for lunch today as it looks easy.

Tomato, chilli and brocolli pasta with quorn meatballs tonight

Going to try and up my water as I've been slacking on that for a couple of days.

Thank you. I hate having my picture taken but if it helps then it is a good idea. As is the string. You can see such a difference in yours too - you've done amazingly well. I am going to do side and front pictures for comparison purposes - my boss did say to me the other week that I had much less back fat which I suppose isn't obvious from these photos.
