Soo, I'm going to start posting my food diaries here daily :D

Not sure if anyone is actually going to read them, but hopefully it'll benefit me anyway!

I'm on green, by the way! Because I'm pescatarian, I eat fish instead.


Breakfast

30g Special K (Healthy Extra B)
250ml semi-skimmed Lactofree milk (Healthy Extra A)

Lunchh

Chips baked in the oven with paprika, salt and pepper with FryLight - Free
2 poached eggs - Free
1 tin of Heinz baked beans - Free

Dinneeerrr

1 can of tuna in spring water - 5.5 syns
Lots of tube pasta - Free
Tomatoes - Free
30g cheddar cheese (Healthy Extra A)
No dressing, mayo or extras.

Snacks/Drinks

330ml can of Tango - 3 syns
Nescafé double choca mocha coffee (so worth it) - 4.5 syns

50 minutes of Latin Dance Aerobic Workout (totally recommend) from YouTube

Day Two

Felt very good today after yesterday's workout.

Overall, I think today was a good day, although I had to get over the fact I couldn't have any mayonnaise on my baked potatoes

Lunch

2 baked potatoes - Free
Quorn meatballs - Free
Tomato Ketchup/BBQ mix - 2 syns
Lettuce/salad mix - Free

Dinner

(Made this all into a pasta, baked-beany soup, it was yum)

1 tin of Heinz baked beans - Free
1 tin of chopped tomatoes - Free
Broccoli florets - Free
Tube pasta - Free
30g cheddar cheese (Healthy Extra A)

Snacks/Drinks

3 x 250ml can of Tango - 7.5 syns
2 x Alpen Light chocolate cereal bars (Healthy Extra B)

Day Three

Today was another good day! I really thought I would maybe struggle on this diet because I love bread and sugary things, but so far the pasta and noodles have been pulling me through and filling me up. Weirdly, I think I'm losing my appetite a bit. Not sure if that is part of the diet's side-effects or not, but it's an interesting discovery nonetheless.

(Made this into a type of ramen noodle soup)
Sharwood's dry egg noodles - Free
Knorr vegetable stock cubes - Free

Leftover pasta-soup from yesterday - Free
30g cheddar cheese (Healthy Extra A)

We started on the same day, we're the same height and have the same target so I've elected you to be my new shrinking buddy. Hope that's okay!

You're ahead of me on the exercise front (I am more of a yoga girl, so that will be starting in the next day or so!) and your menus look awesome even for a carnivore like me. Hope today is great for you and that you enjoy your weekend! x

No problem :D Having a shrinking buddy sounds fun!

I may be ahead of you on the exercise front, but you're ahead of me on the weight loss front! I'm more of a yoga/pilates girl too, and I hate aerobic exercise (anything that involves sweat), but I guess it's supposed to get you to your target quicker - I hope I don't gain too much muscle weight though! I'm absolutely sick of being this size and would love to be your current weight right now!

You'd literally have to take up bodybuilding to start gaining muscle weight - the one thing you might see is water weight gain in the first week or so if you're not used to exercise, but that will literally melt off you as long as you keep the same rate of exercise up (as in, don't increase it!). You've inspired me. The Yoga DVD is going on tonight =)

Have you taken your measurements yet? I'd definitely recommend it - you'd be amazed at how quickly the inches come off, even when the scales are lying to your face and saying you've stayed the same. This kept me going first time around!

What time do you go to group?
 
I hope I don't get that dreaded water weight gain next week either :( I'm glad I inspired you to do exercise!

I haven't taken measurements yet actually, I'll probably do that later on today. That's a good idea.

I don't go to group, but I have been before. The group in my local area isn't for me, and I prefer to weigh myself in the morning after I wake up. Weighing yourself in the evening will never show your true weight in my opinion (and can be a huge put-off). I do have all the books though :D
 
You'll be fine! I have faith!

I go to group with my hubby-to-be - I'm not strict enough otherwise! I just kid myself into thinking I'll lose it next week, hence two stone creeping back on! Glad you've got more willpower than me though! Sadly, I'm in the position of having to get weighed in the evening because I'm not back from work until 6:30, so our weigh in isn't until 7:15! I guess as long as it's always at the same time each week then it's all good.

Hope you're having a great day. I feel like I've just eaten my own body weight in grapes and blueberries. I might go to sleep under my desk for a bit!
