On plan today with a countdown to look & feel good for Christmas!!

Picking up the plan again for the first time in years, have refreshed myself but will still be a learning curve!

Have decided to go with EE to start...

Okay so the first day went really well but ended TERRIBLY in a celebratory bottle of rose wine

Which THEN resulted in a hangover and fish & chips for dinner OMG why do I do it to myself

Maybe should just stay away from any drink because it always seems to ruin it for me.

Anyway, will not fall at the first hurdle, the past is the past and all that! ☀️

Hadn't been food shopping yet so made do with what I had in the house:

B: Banna, 1 x Alpen Light (3.5)

L: Tuna mayo (3) sandwich on brown bread (heB)
Mango slices

S: Extra light cheddar cheese (heA)

D: Nothing (naughty!)

Diet coke & 4 x double vodka x 2 (20)

I know that I will sometimes go over 15 syns a day going out with the boyf few nights a week or having a drink in the evenings (not that I'm an alcoholic or anything!)

Was mentioned to me that I could manage syns weekly and total them up that way... So am going to try this!!!

I think this will help as I tend to think I've blown the whole thing if I have something bad and would be on a downer, at least knowing I hadn't ruined the whole week would put things into perspective and keep me in line I guess!

Seen this on the forum:

Fish and Chips from a chip shop (chippy chips):

Regular Chips (227g): (17½ Syns)

Battered Fish, Large (225g): 19 Syns - I had 1/2 so I'll say (10 syns)

Bottle Rosé (26 syns)

Weekly syns remaining **31.5**

Spread out over 4 days that's roughly 8 a day which isn't too bad I guess

So as you can see I hadn't got off to a very good start life getting in the way! Hopefully settle down get myself into a routine soon

B: FF yoghurt, Alpen Bars (heB)

L: Jacket Potato, light soft cheese (heA), lambs lettuce, balsamic dressing (0.5)

S: 4 Jaffa cakes (10), Bananna

D: Chicken Stew w peppers, tin tomatoes, peppers, baby pots, rice

Im doin weekly syns hun i mentioned it too my leader and she said not too but i do as well have drinks sometimes on an evening and im goin out saturday so if i do weekly syns i no i have them there!!

I have been really bad and am beating myself up over it.

Last night not only did I have a Cadbury's warm chocolate pudding, but I also had CUSTARD! I'm not even going to think about how many syns that was.

I think it all comes down to alcohol! It doesn't agree with me, makes me feel rotten for days and I binge eat to try and make myself feel better, it's like a vicious circle and I think that's what my problem is!




Am so angry at myself

I need to steer clear of the stuff, the boyfriend likes a beer after work and I think I can keep up with him.

I think it's clear what my downfall is, this has been a cycle for me for ages and I think it's where the weight comes from.

SO - with all the healthy good Food I have in, I think it best I just write the last few days off, look at it as a learning curve ( I think this diary writing stuff actually helps! ) and start fresh.

Lazy day today, mostly sleeping & watching TV

D: currently waiting on a Chinese

But I have been v good :) ordered Boiled Rice & Chicken in oyster sauce (4.5)

good luck with the fresh start, it can be done if you plan ahead :)
As for drink , I today haven't had any syns at all, have saved them up so i can use all 15 on navy rum & diet coke :D
which is 150 ml of Rum :D :p

Wow that's a lot of rum, I will have to remember that one!! And thanks for the positive words it helps :) x


Today have been feeling a bit under the weather, have mainly stuck to plan but have needed some sugar pick me ups today

Breakfast: started off with 4 black coffee's with sugar (4)
Alpen Lights (heB) and a Bananna ( god, I really need to shake my breakfasts up a bit Lol!!)

Lunch: boiled rice with a bit of leftover bolognaise ( Los of veg and some passata)

Snack: ff yoghurt ;)

Dinner: (slimming world moussaka with ff yog as heA) salad and light mayonnaise (2)
Swizzle a double lolly (5.5)
Drumstick lolly (2.5)
Parma Violets (1)

Sugar overload! Lucky I was good and managed to restrain myself at that haha

At work having a pooey day lol - think I am settling into plan a bit but feel I need to start mixing up my foods a bit soon as am eating a lot of the same things - will have to go food shopping when feeling a bit more myself...maybe look at others food diaries to get some ideas!

Dinner should consist of FREE something along the lines of chicken & rice w veg (boyf is cooking better save some syns lol)

Full of cold, Mehhh and feeling sorry for myself haha

S: Terrys's chocolate orange slice (2.5), sf red bull

L: Uncle bens golden veg rice 1/2 pack - couldn't be ***ed to make anything decent for lunch today so just grabbed out the cupboard this morning

S: Other Terry's chocolate orange slice (2.5)

D: 3 egg Scrambled egg on 2 x small wholemeal toast (5), butter (1), ketchup (2), tesco light cheese slice (2)

Just an update - am feeling really under the weather, stressed out and not myself, got so much going on I have found it really hard to stick to plan - so I have decided that I am going to get myself together for a few days still eating healthy as poss, and will be back when I am well...With a vengeance!
