Well after a bit of a disastrous 2 weeks I've decided to post a daily food diary on here.

Will try and add some photos too.

Breakfast - Banana - weigh day so don't tend to eat until afterwards


Lunch - Chicken, superfree veg & rice soup


Dinner - Mexican chicken & Rice, salad, ww petit pain (HEXB) & r/f feta cheese (HEXA)


Snacks - Mango and sliced lean meat - may need to add another snack or wee meal as quite hungry as I was disorganised this morning.

Looks good x i need to do a food diary too xx i do one on slimming world but be nice to have peoples opinions lol xx
 
Day 2:-

B: 2 x Linda McCartney rosemary & red onion sausages, 2 lean bacon rashers, tomatoes, mushrooms, egg.

L: Nandos - butterfly chicken (plain) 2.5syns, spicy rice 3.5syns, undressed salad

D: SW sweet chilli drumsticks 1 syn, h/m SW coleslaw -2syns , h/m SW potato wedges & salad

HEXA:- 60g r/f Feta cheese
HEXB:- WW Petit Pain
 
Day 2:-

Dinner looked good xx i had mince beef hash yesterday & having chicken stew today xx
 
Minced beef hash sounds fab - that's my kind of dinner!

The recipe is on SW website but if u can't get on just let me know and i Will post it on here x

Snack: apple

Not drinking alcohol this week so leaves lots of syns to add to meals.

HEXB - WW petit pain

It was 3 digestives crushed and separated between 4 pudding dishes, sliced bananas, the you get 2 sheets of gelatine, soak in cold water until soft then pour over 100ml boiling water. Mix that with 2 muller light banana custard yogurts, 1 tbspn sweetener, 1 tbspn baileys, 150g quark and pour on top, Set in the fridge and then top with more sliced banana and 1 tbspn of cocoa powder sifted over the top.

They were OK and certainly hit the sweet tooth!
 
Today's munchies are:-

B: Bubble n squeak, dry fried egg, 2 rashers ex lean bacon

L: Baked Potato, lots of salad, ham, chicken, 1 tbspn salad cream light - 1.5syns, 1 tbspn lurpak light - 4 syns, 40g low fat cheddar (HEXA)

S: Fruit salad

D: Tuna pasta bake out of SW magazine - 2.5 syns and green beans, ww petit pain (HEXB)

Thank you. Am trying to keep my food as varied and tasty as I possibly can, adding the odd dessert in to keep me on track. It's amazing the food you can eat if you just put in a bit of effort and usually it tastes better than takeaway/shop bought.

I think the fact you can have really tasty food is why Slimming World works so well - you can have anything you like really as long as you make it yourself and know what's in it!

D: beef in black bean sauce (2 syns), 12 cashew nuts (HEXB), egg fried rice & steamed pak choi or choi sum.

S: may treat myself to Green & Blacks dark chocolate (15g for 4 syns or 35g for 10 syns - depending on the sized bar I can find) have lots of syns left for the week so can indulge.

Love the idea of taking the cheese with you lol not sure if u know but Asda have got 2 4 £5 on reduced fat cheese xx think tesco maybe doing same promotion too x

Sorry for missing a day or 2 - half term keeps getting in the way!

Weigh day and another 1lb bites the dust. I've not been 100% so delighted with that - any loss is a bonus in my eyes!

B: none as weigh in day
L: grilled salmon, stir fry veg, rice noodles & stir fry sauce made up on 1 tbspn soy sauce, 1/2 tbspn mirin, 1/2 tbspn sweet chilli sauce & 1/2 tbspn of reducers sugar & salt ketchup - counted as 2 as this was divided with my 2 girls
D: beef in black bean sauce (1syn), fried rice, 12 cashew nuts (HEXB), spring onion, mangetout.
S: chopped up apple with 30g cubed cheddar (HEXA)

Going to study the cookbooks tonight and plan a few new recipes for the week ahead with a green day or 2 added just for variety.
