I first started SW many years ago after having my first child then 2 years later I got pregnant again with my 2nd child. After both attempts I got down to target & maintained however in April 2012 I got married & somehow thought I was invincible and started eating because I was content (awwww lol).
So 2 years on and 3st heavier (feel so ashamed) I am back for the final time to do SW.
I am going to try & remember to post every night on here so people can see how I am doing, SW website is great but theys no feedback on your food diary :)
My weigh in day is Thursday morning and have already lost 5lb in my first week on EE :D

So far this week I have stayed on plan & under my syns.

So here I go, here's todays food - 25/10/14 Total - 8 syns

Breakfast
2 slices of wholemeal bread (hexb) & 2 tsps. choc spread (3 syns)

Lunch
Homemade butternut squash soup - all free
Bunch of grapes

Tea
Chicken Stew - carrots, swede, turnip, peas & leeks, chicken stock, chicken & chicken gravy (3 syns)
Mash (milk hexa, 2 syns for marg)

Drinks
Tea (milk hexa), coffee, sugar free dilute pop


Have 12.5 syns left from last 2 days so may flexi use these to have an alcoholic beverage later hehe

Well I'm actually quite pleased with myself today as mentioned yesterday we all went to a kids Halloween disco today and I only had one pint of Carling (8.5 syns) lol Most of party I was drinking diet pepsi then hubby decided for being well behaved I could have a lager lol.
I also got up and danced with kids which hubby & DJ found hilarious (my dance moves are epic lol). All in all I have had a great afternoon and stayed on plan :D Now preparing Sunday dinner (more like sunday tea lol) and Gammon smells delicious in oven nom nom.

So here is todays food....

Total syns - 15

Breakfast
2 wholemeal slices of bread
(hexb), bacon & tomato, brown sauce (0.5 syn)

Lunch
Homemade butternut squash soup - all free

Tea
Gammon, potatoes, carrots, leek, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, roasted parnsnips (fry light), roast potatoes (fry light), 200ml gravy
(3 syns), 1 Yorkshire pud (2 syns), Mash (hexa milk & 0.5 tsp marg 1 syn)

Drinks
Tea, Water, Pint of Carling
(8.5 syns)


Happy with todays food despite using all my syns but that's what SW is all about and I love it :D

Yes especially when they are cheesy party classics, just had to be done lol DJ was impressed I was on the pepsi lol

Damn right, think that what fuelled me more to do it lol That or sheer giddiness lol I can get hyper on diet pop lol
 
What I didn't understand was 1st round, a pint of lager for hubby, a pint of diet pepsi for me and 2 blackcurrant sodas cost £5.10 but the next round which was just diet pepsi and lager was £5.70 lol

Had a family day & went to see the mother in law. Plan was to have farmhouse omelette & SW chips for tea or left over gammon and egg with SW chips but Mummy in law decided to feed us and ended up having a fry up with lard instead. Oh no I hear you cry (altogether now....OH NO!!! lol), however I ended up cooking it so I used a tsp of lard which is 2 syns so mimimal damage.
Had a slight decreased appetite this evening so was leftover gammon, an apple and aldi greek style yogurt for tea.
So here is todays food....

Total syns - 13

Breakfast
Porridge (hexa & b) with 2 tsps. chocolate spread (3 syns)

Lunch
1.5 Irish Sausages (6 syns), 3 rashers bacon (fat cut off), beans, tomatoes, 1 fried egg. 1 tsp lard (2 syns)

Tea
Leftover Gammon, Apple, Aldi Greek style strawberry yoghurt (free)

Drinks
Tea (2 syns for sugar & hexa milk), sugarfree cherryade, water


Another higher syn day but not worried as still on plan even if a few obstacles were thrown at me lol. Turkey mince is out ready for home made shepherds pie tomorrow with lots of veg :D May even make a jelly as got some sugar free that needs using and its free after all lol. Also need to scour my cupboards for ingredients to make an homemade soup too lol.
 
At least you counted the lard :D
13 syns is ok..that's what they are there for :)
I use mine to maximum potential if need be :)

I actually thought the lard would be more so was pleasantly surprised when it was only 2 syns :D I used to restrict mine before but now I use them if I need to and make sure I definitely have 5 syns xx
 
It's learning to deal with things that life throws at you. You did fab drinking soft drinks and also minimising the amount of lard used in cooking. I'm still gobsmacked people still use it in this day and age lol.

Yes it is x in previous attempts of SW i lost the weight & got to target but i restricted myself and if i went slightly off plan id go on sabotage mode. Its my mother in law she's a bit old fashioned lol well forgot to take turkey mince out last night so thought not a problem do an omelette for tea to the realise got no cooked meats and im sick of bacon lol so gonna syn some fishcakes with garden peas and Sw chips for tea. Thinking jacket spud with cottage cheese and tomatoes for lunch but we will see lol x
 
Well today as been very productive, got the entire house cleaned and even cleared out the clutter in my bedroom lol. Totally shattered now and hubby decided we both deserved a well earned takeaway :D Again I have stayed on plan just dreading tomorrow now lol.

2 Boiled eggs with 2 slices of wholemeal bread (hexb) - 400g loaf with 10g marg (3.5 syns)

Lunch
Homemade Tomato Soup

Tea
Chicken Dansak (6.5 syns), 1 poppodom (4 syns)

Drinks
Tea (hexa for milk), sugarfree cherryade, Glass of milk (remaining hexa allowance)

Another high syn day grrr but still on plan so better stop moaning lol

Well yesterday i hardly ate ought and today been similar x bit down too as got weighed this morning and i have maintained despite :(
Plus my daughter is ill too so not good at all x
