Food Diary - My slimming world journey

I joined Slimming World on Thursday, and figured keeping a food diary on here would be a good way of keeping track, sharing my ideas and (hopefully) getting some guidance/ideas from others.

Friday:
Breakfast - Coffee (made with 2 sweetex and milk from HEa)

Lunch - Subway salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, gherkins, sweetcorn) with beef

Dinner - Cheese, Leek & Ham Pasta'n'Sauce (1 Syn) with mushrooms (fried in Frylight) stirred in

Snacks/Drinks - Banana, Plum, Sweet Chilli Sunbites 25g (6 Syns), 150ml Fanta Orange (2 Syns)


HEa - 150ml Semi-Skimmed Milk & 25g Philadelphia Light

HEb - 2 Slices Hovis Nimble Wholemeal Bread (400g loaf)

It's brilliant, it seems to be quite easy to pick up...

Yeah, I completely forgot they did salad bowls! Luckily I was with a friend who's doing slimming world too
 
Yeah, I tried it out a while back without classes, but could never stick to anything so I joined on Thursday and it already seems much easier

Saturday:

Breakfast - Banana, Plum, Muller Light (raspberry and cranberry), Coffee (Milk from HEa)

Lunch - Princes Mackerel in a Rich Tomato Sauce, Plum

Dinner - Beef Stew (diced beef, Tesco three bean casserole packs, stock cubes, stock pots), 2 Dumplings (11.5 Syns), stew gravy thickened with cornflour (0.5 Syns/serving), Jacket Potato


Snacks/Drinks - Pepsi Max, Plum, Banana


HEa - <100ml Skimmed Milk


HEb - None (Forgot)

Sunday:

Breakfast - Coffee (HEa milk), orange and grapefruit segments

Lunch - 2 Weetabix (HEb + HEa milk), 5 slices honey roast ham

Dinner - Roast - Roast chicken, SW roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots, frozen yorkshire pudding (2 syns), cranberry sauce (1 syn), gravy (from stew 0.5 syns).


Snacks/Drinks - Chomp (5.5 syns), sweet chilli sunbites (6 syns)


HEa - 350ml Skimmed Milk


HEb - 2 Weetabix


Total Syns: 15
 
Monday:

Breakfast - Banana, 1 Weetabix

Lunch - Jacket Potato, beans, 1/2 tin of weight watchers tuna in coronation style dressing - gross (1 syn), grapefruit an orange segments

Dinner - SW fry up - 4 rashers bacon, 1 sausage (1.5 syns), 2 eggs, SW chips, mushrooms, tinned plum tomatoes


Snacks/Drinks - 2 cups of coffee (with HEa milk), milky way crispy rolls (6.5 syns)


HEa - <350ml Skimmed Milk


HEb - 1 Weetabix

I had planned on having my other HEb weetabix with the rest of my HEa milk in the evening, but someone at work used the rest of my milk and I had no idea how much I'd already had

Lunch - Salad - Baby leaves, baby tomatoes, yellow pepper, beetroot, Mackerel in tomato sauce

Dinner - <½ Tin of stewed steak in gravy (2 syns), frozen mash (3.5 syns), 112g white bread (12 syns), 23g lurpak (8.5 syns)

Snacks/Drinks - Coffee - made with 1 sugar (1 syn), 2 Vampire bites (6 syns) Galaxy cookie crumble cake slice (7.5 syns), 150ml can Dr Pepper (3 syns), slice of honey roast ham

HEa - 350ml Skimmed Milk

HEb - none


Total Syns: 43.5

Such a bad day, but it was my birthday (hence the cakey stuff!)
 
Wednesday:

Breakfast - Coffee (HEa milk), banana, strawberry muller light

Lunch - Salad - Baby leaves, baby tomatoes, yellow pepper, beetroot, 2 slices honey roast ham

Dinner - Uncle Ben's microwave basmati rice (2 syns), weight watchers tuna in tomato and herb dressing (1.5 syns)

Snacks/Drinks - 2 weetabix (with HEa milk), sweet chilli sunbites (6 syns) options mint (made with HEa milk - 1.5 syns), 2 slices honey roast ham

HEa - 350ml Skimmed Milk


HEb - 2 weetabix

Thursday:

Breakfast - Coffee (HEa milk), plum, cherry muller light

Lunch - Salad - Baby leaves, baby tomatoes, yellow pepper, beetroot, 2 slices honey roast ham

Dinner - Spanish pork casserole with rice using Coleman's Spanish pork casserole bag (2.5 syns for 1/3)

Snacks/Drinks - 2 weetabix (with HEa milk), 2 squares dark chocolate (3 syns) Hifi light chocolate and caramel bar (3 syns)

Breakfast - Coffee (HEa milk), Hifi light double choc crisp bar, strawberry muller light

Lunch - Jacket potato, beans, weight watchers tuna in mayonnaise with sweetcorn (2 syns)

Dinner - Rice with non slimming world bolognese (4 syns), mackerel in tomato sauce

Snacks/Drinks - Mint humbug (2 syns), 150ml can coca cola (3 syns), Hifi light chocolate and caramel bar, options belgian chocolate sachet (2 syns)

HEa - 175ml Skimmed Milk, 125ml Semi Skimmed Milk


HEb - 2 Hifi light bars

Wow, I really need to get back into the habit of completing my food diary!

12lb down from when I started 15 weeks ago.
